AdventHealth, formerly Florida Hospital, is seeking a team of experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologists to launch an OB Hospitalist program at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida. Candidates will join our team of 16 physicians supporting four campuses in central Florida. Responsibilities of the OB Hospitalists include provision of in-house obstetric coverage for unassigned and emergent obstetric patients; act as surgical assist to staff OB/GYN physicians upon request; manage and cover the OB Triage unit; accept and manage maternal transfers; and provide appropriate oversight and clinical teaching of medical students, family medicine residents and other learners. This practice serves the needs of the North Orlando community and is located in the heart of Seminole County. Utilizing mid wives and specializing in personalized service to patients is part of the practice’s culture. Located onsite at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, this practice performs a high volume of deliveries and surgeries. Physician should be proficient in performing minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery. Robotic subspecialty interest could be incorporated depending on the physician’s background and training. Three years’ experience in an outpatient setting preferred, but not necessary.

AdventHealth is looking for a dynamic Palliative Medicine Medical Director to continue to develop and oversee our program at our major tertiary facility in downtown Orlando and in our system in the Central Florida area which consists of eight hospitals. This physician would provide the clinical leadership and expertise for the palliative care team to improve patient care throughout the hospital. We are also launching a Palliative Medicine fellowship in 2019. Prior experience with directing or developing a program is required. The new leader would continue to build effective relationships with referring physicians to ensure excellent follow-up by our existing team of palliative medicine physicians. The Medical Director would also build an improved culture of collaboration among specialists, PCP’s and nurses to meet the needs of patients and families.

AdventHealth, formerly Florida Hospital, is seeking dynamic and hardworking Palliative Medicine physicians to join our team within our system in Orlando. AdventHealth has a growing physician-led program that will give you the opportunity to work with our existing palliative care team. We direct inpatient consultation services at a tertiary hospital with a dedicated inpatient unit, with plans to roll-out outpatient clinics. This position comes with opportunities for mentorship, scholarship, working with team-based faculty, and a palliative fellowship. Team members include dedicated advanced practitioners, chaplains, child-life specialists, a pharmacist and case-managers. You will provide inpatient palliative consultation services to patients in a hospital setting. In addition, you will hold family meetings to discuss and clarify goals of care, as well as provide guidance and oversee symptom management in the inpatient and ambulatory setting. This program emphasizes patient and family-centered care and collaboration with a team of physicians from every specialty. There is an opportunity to work with residents and fellows.

The group is open to both noninvasive and interventional cardiology backgrounds. The new leader will also have experience with both inpatient and outpatient settings, including outreach strategies. The pediatric cardiology division is part of a full-service program including six cardiologists (with plans to continue to grow), two world class cardiothoracic surgeons, a robust intensive care group, top cardiac anesthesia and surgical results rivaling any program in the country. Our state of the art hybrid catherization laboratory see over 150 diagnostic/interventional procedures and over 125 electrophysiology procedures annually. We also performed over 200 surgeries in 2018. There is a robust adult congenital cardiology population and we have a board certified adult congenital cardiologist in the group.
