Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology

AdventHealth is seeking experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologists to lead our OBGYN teams in beautiful Orlando and Celebration, Florida.  The L&D Unit Medical Director will function as an OBGYN Hospitalist while also having the opportunity to oversee the operational aspects of Labor and Delivery.  This position combines leadership, medical expertise, and collaboration skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care to expectant mothers, newborns, and families. As the Unit Medical Director, you will work closely with nursing, clinical staff, and hospital leadership to ensure optimal outcomes, quality assurance, and adherence to best practices.  As an OBGYN Hospitalist, you will evaluate triage/OBED patients, manage admitted patients, provide coverage support to community groups, perform gynecologic consultations, and be the in-house expert in obstetric and gynecologic emergencies.  Additionally, our team at the Orlando campus also engages in medical education through work with fellows, residents, medical students, and other learners.  A motivation to increase patient safety, elevate patient satisfaction, desire to improve professional relationships between providers, dynamic communication skills and the ability to fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth, are all required. 

We are seeking physicians with the following qualifications: 

  • Board certification or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology 
  • Certification in adult and neonatal resuscitation 

  • 3+ year minimum of Labor and Delivery experience

  • Proficiency with hospital EMR systems

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a dynamic Palliative Medicine physician to join our team in Altamonte Springs, FL. Our leadership has committed to ensure an interdisciplinary approach to providing care thus expanding the teams at our campuses. The inpatient division is composed of seven physicians, twelve APPs, six LCSWs and 2 chaplains over seven hospitals. The department has two fellowships, a one-year ACGME physician fellowship with two positions and a one year APP fellowship with two positions.  

The current open position is for a physician leader at the Adventhealth Altamonte Springs location in northeast Orlando. The provider will join two full time APRN’s to provide inpatient consultations. Clinical care expectations include goals of care, family meetings and complex symptom management in the inpatient setting. The program strives to foster a growth mindset and appreciates its wide diversity of providers backgrounds including psychiatry, family medicine, critical care and internal medicine.

Requirements of the position include: 

  • Successful candidates will have strong clinical skills and desire to grow with the program 
  • Board Certification/Eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine along with active board certification through one of the co-sponsoring boards.

The position does require that the physician provide rotations at the East Campus for our fellows.

Our Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is a full service, tertiary children’s hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 30 peds ICU beds with a dedicated peds CICU, a 102 bed NICU, 17 bed pediatric emergency department and statewide pediatric network and transport system. We started our comprehensive pediatric open heart program in 2012 and have a strong track record of positive outcomes. We also have several key destination programs including our level IV Epilepsy program, the region’s only BMT and solid organ transplants including kidney and liver, and we increased Orlando area NICU beds to 150 total in 2017. Our unparalleled network consists of 27 hospitals across the state with one children’s hospital at the center totals over 20,000 births and several extremely successful pediatric subspecialty programs including outreach clinics. This position will help expand our services to our satellite locations in Celebration and Winter Garden, improving patient access and reducing wait time to ensure high-quality dermatologic care for our pediatric patients.

Requirements of the position include: 

  • MD or DO degree 
  • Board eligible or board certification by the American Board of Dermatology

Location: Mt Dora, FL - Specialty: Pediatric, General

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatrician to join a well-established practice located in Mount Dora, Florida.

The ideal candidate will be/have: 

  • Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure) 
  • Board Certification in Pediatrics (or Board Eligibility if less than 3 years out of training) 
  • Experience with supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN and/or PA-C) 
  • Proficiency with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to; circumcisions, vaccinations per AAP guidelines, CLIA waived labs

Physician Expectations: 

  • Shared practice call coverage for evenings and weekends

AdventHealth for Children is looking for a Pediatric Hospitalist to be the dedicated physician at Viera Hospital in Viera, Florida. One of our partner affiliates, Viera Hospital is nearly a 100 bed hospital on the east coast of Florida, approximately 50 minutes from Orlando. Live and work near the beautiful Atlantic Ocean beaches and shores of the Banana River. Melbourne Beach, Port Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Experience are also just a short drive.

Responsibilities of the new physician will include: on call from home for deliveries and C sections after daily rounds. Daily coverage and rounding on babies in newborn nursery. Higher acuity infants are stabilized and transferred. Hospital averages approximately 600-700 births per year with an average daily census of 6-7 patients.

AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are looking for dynamic and energetic Pediatric Hospitalists to join our team at AdventHealth Daytona Beach in association with AdventHealth for Children/Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando.

The pediatric hospitalist would be expected: 

  • to perform pediatric admissions to the dedicated Pediatric Floor 
  • ED pediatric consults 
  • participate in daily family centered rounding 
  • cover the Level 1 Newborn Nursery 
  • schedule would consist of approximately 15 12hr shifts per month.
