Full Time Opportunity for a Clinical Neuropsychologist – Lifespan

Serving the AdventHealth Winter Park and Orlando Community

AdventHealth Medical Group Neuropsychology located in Winter Park, Florida is seeking to hire a clinical neuropsychologist to provide comprehensive neuropsychological services to our diverse patient population with an emphasis on adults 16+ years of age. We are seeking a fellowship trained, board eligible/certified clinical neuropsychologist with experience in assessment and treatment of a wide range of neurological, cognitive, and behavioral conditions.  This may include adults presenting with a history of childhood onset conditions, new onset adult neurological injury and/or disease, and neurodegenerative disorders.  

  • Our Neuropsychology practice was established over 25 years ago and is well-respected in the community. 
  • Our practice is comprised of 3 full-time and 1 part-time neuropsychologists, 1 full-time health psychologist, 2 postdoctoral fellows, 1 psychometrists, and typically between 3-6 graduate students. 
  • The neuropsychology team is part of the AdventHealth Neuroscience program and works closely with multiple multidisciplinary medical teams including neurosurgery, oncology, memory disorder clinic, and rehabilitation medicine to provide services to patients with a wide range of conditions.
  • Our program is affiliated with the UCF, one of the nation’s largest universities. We are also affiliated with the FIT, one of Florida’s private universities

General Summary:

  • Typical referrals include: Medical and neurological conditions such as TBI, concussion, brain tumor, seizure disorder, autoimmune disorders, memory disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions.
  • Adults presenting with ADHD, learning disability, developmental delays, and neuro-behavioral disorders with anxiety, depression, and other co-morbid psychosocial, behavioral and psychiatric concerns.
  • This position is primarily clinical and heavily assessment focused; however, delivery of psychotherapy and treatment is also expected (approximately 10-20%) primarily in following patients initially seen for neuropsychological evaluation.
  • There are ample opportunities for supervision of graduate students and post-doctoral fellows, and participation in didactic seminars as presented and attendee (e.g., tumor boards, grand rounds).
  • The possibility of conducting research is also available.
  • Provide comprehensive services including assessment, parent and family consultation and education, and interventions for patients.
  • We also work closely with AdventHealth’s Sports Concussion Program and local high school athletic programs, performing brief and comprehensive assessments, concussion management, and education regarding return to play.

Schedule Details:

  • Majority outpatient and some inpatient responsibilities
  • Schedule is Mon– Fri from 8 AM – 5 PM with flexibility and potential of extended hours

Knowledge & Skills Required:

General Summary:

  • The Pediatric APRN or PA-C, under the supervision of the Physician, who acts as the collaborative practitioner, is responsible for:
  • Performs admissions, consultations and follow up care of pediatric patients in the Pediatric ICU and Cardiac ICU setting, including intubation, ventilator management and other procedures that may be required
  • Managing medical and post-operative ICU patients

Blood and Marrow Transplant Center has treated more than 500 blood and marrow transplants. As Central Florida’s first and only comprehensive bone marrow transplant center, Blood and Marrow Transplant at Orlando is certified by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy for meeting stringent volume and standard of care requirements. General Summary:

The ideal candidate would be wound care certified with the availability to diagnose, evaluate and treat health conditions as well as promote good overall health practices to help patients improve their quality of life.

General Summary: The APP, under the supervision of the Physicians is responsible for:

  • Performs patient histories and physical exams on patients with acute and chronic wounds in the office setting
  • Provide the highest quality of wound care to ill, injured or disabled patients
  • Taking all consults first, then developing a plan and consulting with MDs
  • Manages follow-ups
  • Order, interpret and evaluate lab and imagining results
  • Procedures expected to perform but are not limited to: Debridement’s biopsies, wound assessment, dressing application, pressure relief, and pain and/or odor control
  • Has extensive knowledge of Wound, Ostomy and Continence
  • Maintains accurate patient medical records by tracking the progress of wound healing and document in a timely manner

AdventHealth, formerly Florida Hospital, is seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join the OB Hospitalist program at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida.  New physician will join our team of 16 physicians supporting four campuses in central Florida.  Responsibilities of the OB Hospitalists include provision of in-house obstetric coverage for unassigned and emergent obstetric patients; act as surgical assist to staff OB/GYN physicians upon request; manage and cover the OB Triage unit; accept and manage maternal transfers; and provide appropriate oversight and clinical teaching of medical students, family medicine residents and other learners.  A motivation to increase patient safety and elevate patient satisfaction, along with dynamic communication skills and the ability to fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth, are required.

AdventHealth Medical Group OB GYN at Waterman, is seeking a dynamic and energetic Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join their busy practice based at AdventHealth Waterman in Tavares, FL. This highly successful practice draws patients from the Tavares, Mount Dora and Eustis areas and care is provided in a newly renovated unit specially designed for women & children’s services.

The practice is split with a fairly equal mix of OB and GYN patients. This office is well equipped with spacious exam rooms and is staffed for in-office procedures, and current support staff includes MA's and seasoned front office personnel. All deliveries and surgeries are performed at AdventHealth Waterman. The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Desire to join a highly collegial team of experienced physicians in an employed model through AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG)
  • Experienced with laparoscopic surgery
  • Comfort with engaging members of the community to help expand market share
  • Rotating Call for the labor unit and gynecology with other members of the team

AdventHealth (formerly Florida Hospital) Medical Group OB GYN at Altamonte is seeking a dynamic and energetic OB GYN to join their busy practice. This practice serves the needs of the North Orlando community and is located in the heart of Seminole County.  Utilizing mid wives and specializing in personalized service to patients is part of the practice’s culture.  Located onsite at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, this practice performs a high volume of deliveries and surgeries.  Physician should be proficient in performing minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery.  Robotic subspecialty interest could be incorporated depending on the physician’s background and training.  Three years’ experience in an outpatient setting preferred, but not necessary.

Physician will perform deliveries in newly renovated maternity suites replete with 4D ultrasound. "The Baby Place" at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs offers a host of concierge amenities including a customized birthing plan for each mother to be. Our Birth Center is the only maternity unit to offer a birthing center within a hospital, which allows women the opportunity to customize their birth experience, giving them more power and involvement in the birthing process.
