Practice Summary:

Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery is seeking a full-time audiologist to join our team. The audiologist will service primarily adult patients, through administering and interpreting auditory/vestibular testing, hearing aids, cochlear implants and bone-anchored hearing aids. Additionally, the audiologist will collaborate with 5 ENT physicians, 4 physician assistants, and physical therapy to evaluate and treat patients.

General Summary:

• Defines patient hearing impairment and/or balance disorder by conferring with referring physician

• Conduct, interpret and provide appropriate and detailed documentation for hearing and balance testing

• Determining type and degree of hearing impairment and possible effects on comprehension and speech

• Fit and dispense hearing aids

• Administer bone-anchored hearing aid evaluations and programming

• Perform cochlear implant evaluations and programming

• Counsel patients with hearing loss and their families using appropriate communication strategies

• Educate patients on hearing protection

• Maintain patient records, record documentation in a timely manner

Leadership/Program Development - Adult Congenital Heart Disease

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic and team-oriented Adult Congenital Cardiologist to lead and continue to cultivate our Adult Congenital Cardiology Program.  

The applicant should have expertise in the management of adult congenital heart disease with prominent clinical, teaching, program development and research skills.  Excellent skills in leadership, collaboration and clinical management of ACHD patients is a must.  The ACHD team will include a registered nurse, Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA), and a MA.  The position also involves collaboration between pediatric and adult cardiology teams, neonatal ICU, pediatric & adult ICU, and inpatient cardiology.

The ideal candidate would have a comfort level with participating in our outreach clinics and be willing to perform both inpatient and outpatient Adult Congenital Cardiology.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Cardiology is looking for a cardiac electrophysiologist to join our comprehensive team of cardiologists at AdventHealth Apopka. This physician will help continue to grow a new market in association with our physicians and advanced practice providers. Responsibilities will include general cardiology along with EP. The new physician would also have call coverage at the Apopka and Winter Garden hospital in rotation with practice partners and other community cardiology physicians. There will be an opportunity to perform ablations and other advanced EP procedures at AdventHealth Orlando, which includes surgical back up on site.

Requirements for the position: Board Certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty board certification in Cardiovascular Disease. Formal fellowship in Electrophysiology also required. High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians should apply. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic and energetic Cardiologist with fellowship training in Sports Cardiology to join our team to build sports cardiology services at the AdventHealth Training Center. The Training center serves as the training site for the Orlando Magic and is a destination sports medicine hub to Central Florida. Located just one block away from the Amway Center, the medical hub is designed for elite athletes, as well as youth athletes and weekend warriors.

The position will also include a Medical Directorship, with 60/40 clinical to medical directorship time starting the first two years to build the program. Physician will be part of the AHMG Orlando Cardiology call schedule and will have part-time clinic space in the Cardiology office.

Requirements for the position: Board Certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty board certification in Cardiovascular Disease. High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians should apply. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Ideal candidates will have experience building a program, however, recent graduates and those early in their career stage willing to build a practice will be considered.

The AdventHealth Transplant Institute is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and fellowship-trained advanced heart failure cardiologist to lead the advanced heart failure and heart transplant team. The physician will work with our current group of established transplant cardiology and thoracic transplant surgical teams to help continue to grow our high-quality cardiac transplant program.  We have a full comprehensive Transplant Institute that includes both thoracic and abdominal transplant teams.  Our team performs over 60 hearts, 20 lungs, and 30-50 VAD’s per year with multi organ transplant capability.     

The AdventHealth Transplant Institute is located just outside downtown Orlando close to the charming Winter Park community.  In September 2020, AdventHealth Orlando opened a state-of-the-art 32 bed critical care unit dedicated to the cardio thoracic transplant service.  AdventHealth has a hospital-based organ procurement organization (Our Legacy which is a top performing OPO in the United States).

  • Fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant with at least five years’ experience post fellowship

AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiovascular Center is looking for a dynamic and quality focused interventional cardiologist (non-structural) to join our established team of cardiologists who cover our highly rated, 253 bed community Hospital in Orange City, FL. The practice is a part of AdventHealth Medical Group. This aligned model and practice management experience provides the opportunity for the physicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine.

Our established cardiology practice, with over 30 years of service, in totality, consists of   (6) cardiologists  and  (4) APP’s.   

The hospital and clinics are located only a short drive from the Lake Mary/Sanford area, and easily accessible from the highway, allowing the option to either live locally or drive a short commute from one our neighboring cities. Our clinics are located in the cities of Lake Mary, Orange City, and Deltona.
