The AdventHealth Transplant Institute is seeking a dynamic, fellowship-trained transplant advanced heart failure cardiologist to join the thoracic transplant team.   The new cardiologist would work in an exciting and thriving CMS approved transplant program with full hospital support.   Physician would have the benefit of cross coverage for transplant call and work with a comprehensive team including surgeons, cardiologists, coordinators, dieticians, pharmacists, therapists and social workers.  The Transplant Institute also offers a vibrant and growing Ventricular Assist Device program as well and a fully developed ECMO program.   Volumes in 2018 included 55 transplants and 68 VAD’s and we are a top ten transplant center in the US for the last two years.    

Requirements of the position include: 

  • Fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant
  • BE/BC is required in Cardiovascular Disease with BE/BC in Advanced Heart Failure.

Kissimmee, FL

AdventHealth Medical Group, formerly Florida Hospital Medical Group, is looking for two dynamic and energetic cardiologists (invasive, non-interventional) to join our team at AdventHealth Kissimmee (website).   

Responsibilities will include both inpatient and outpatient cardiology care and will cross cover at AdventHealth Celebration with two other cardiologists. Ideal candidates will have practice building experience and expertise with nuclear, cardiac stress testing and TEE’s.  Recent graduates/early career (within 5 years) willing to build a practice will be considered as well. The AH CVI is centered in a tertiary facility known as AdventHealth Orlando with a newly opened Ginsburg Tower. This cardiologist must be proficient in all forms of diagnostic testing including nuclear and ultrasound modalities, trans esophageal echo and diagnostic cardiac catheterization.  Responsibilities will involve both inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care. AdventHealth Medical Group formerly Florida Hospital Medical Group is looking for two dynamic and energetic invasive/noninvasive (non-interventional) cardiologists to join our team at AdventHealth Celebration (website).    These cardiologists must be proficient in performing nuclear tests and preferably TEE’s.  This employed opportunity would total four cardiologists to start as we launch a new Acute MI/PCI program at AdventHealth Celebration formerly Florida Hospital CelebrationHealth, led by Dr. Rohit Bhatheja.  Practice in a beautiful location, approximately 30 minutes south of downtown Orlando.  This would be an excellent opportunity to help start and grow a program in a hospital with over 80,000 emergency visits per year and the closest hospital in proximity to Walt Disney World.

AdventHealth Medical Group - AHMG, (formerly Florida Hospital Medical Group) is continuing to grow its comprehensive and successful 24/7 ICU model and are seeking dynamic critical care fellowship trained physicians to be part of our expanding team. We have the following positions available around the greater Orlando area with growth potential and opportunities for teaching as well:

  • Neuro Critical Care - Full time position (Boarded in Neuro Critical Care)
  • Nocturnist at Celebration (for Med/Surg and Cardiac ICU)
  • Medical Surgical Intensivist for Orlando area hospitals including an opening for full time nights

This employment opportunity is for critical care fellowship trained physicians with an interest in a hospital only setting covering Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, CV ICU's, and Neuro ICU’s. Full time Nocturnists also considered for pay differential. Ideal candidates will have two years experience in Critical Care Medicine, although new fellowship grads will be considered as well. 14 shifts per month will provide full time benefits. The mission of the AdventHealth Diabetes Institute is to improve the lives of people with diabetes, promote a healthy lifestyle, deliver excellence in clinical care and education, and conduct research leading to diabetes prevention and a cure.  The new physician would help start a new outpatient practice location and be part of our larger team over 20 endocrine providers covering multiple locations around the Central Florida area. 

The AdventHealth Diabetes Institute is a full-service, integrated practice, providing endocrinology and diabetes care, as well as comprehensive diabetes and nutrition education services. The AHDI is a nationally recognized program including consistent recognition in Endocrinology by U.S. News and World Report. We serve as a teaching site for internal medicine residents and medical students.  We also participate in clinical research in the areas of diabetes, obesity and metabolism in partnership with our Translational Research Institute for Metabolism and Diabetes.
