Cardiovascular Associates of Lake County, a private Cardiology practice with offices in Tavares, FL and Leesburg, FL, is growing and looking for an energetic General Cardiologist to join the team. With over 25 years’ experience in treating the Lake County community, Cardiovascular Associates of Lake County is focused on providing complete cardiac care to nearly 3,000 patients per year.  The new physician will be joining a practice of 7 physicians, 2 advanced practice providers, along with all other clinical and office staff.  At our main office in Tavares there is also an outpatient angio suite, PET Scanner, and is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to provide the quality cardiac care our patients deserve.

Qualified candidates will be/have:

  • Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  • Board Certification in Echocardiography and Nuclear Medicine is a plus
  • Comfortable overseeing and providing clinical supervision to APRN and/or PA-C
  • Bilingual candidates preferred

In collaboration with AdventHealth Waterman, this opportunity will be supported by a Recruitment Assistance Agreement. AdventHealth Waterman is proud to be the first hospital in north Lake County to receive full accreditation from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care for our Chest Pain Center with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention.  Our cardiovascular surgery program is led out by two very experienced surgeons who have remained in the community for many years.  We are also excited about the launch our newly established TAVR program late this summer.  With accreditation from the American College of Cardiology for Chest Pain Rapid Response Systems, AdventHealth Waterman is also the only hospital in Central Florida to receive 10 consecutive "A" grades by the Leapfrog Group, a prestigious healthcare ratings group. AdventHealth Medical Group Critical Care at Central Florida is looking for a dynamic physician to be a part of our expanding critical care team.  This position would be focused in our Cardiovascular ICU at our AdventHealth Orlando campus.  Physicians will have responsibility to cover in the new, state of the art, 32 bed CVICU with our team of intensivists and advanced practice providers. The patient mix includes heart and lung transplants, mechanical assist devices and general cardiac and thoracic surgery.  

This employment opportunity with AdventHealth Medical Group Critical Care is a part of our established group of more than 80 physicians and APP’s.  The group extends throughout Central Florida with dedicated teams across eight campuses.

AdventHealth is continuing to grow its comprehensive and successful 24/7 ICU model and we are seeking dynamic, critical care fellowship trained physicians to be part of our expanding team. We have positions available around the greater Orlando area with growth potential and opportunities for teaching as well.  Below is an outline of the campuses we will have full time positions available, physician will cover one of the primary campuses below:

  • AdventHealth East Orlando – Medical/Surgical ICU – 14 shifts per month
  • AdventHealth Winter Park – Medical/Surgical ICU – 14 shifts per month – leadership opportunity
  • AdventHealth Winter Garden – Medical ICU – 14 shifts per month
  • Nocturnist - AdventHealth Altamonte Springs/East Orlando – 12 shifts per month

This employment opportunity is for critical care fellowship trained physicians with an interest in an inpatient only setting covering mostly in the Medical and Surgical ICU’s.  Ideal candidates will have two years of experience in Critical Care Medicine, although new fellowship graduates will be considered as well.  Competitive salary/benefits and a collegial cross-coverage team are just some of the attractive aspects of this opportunity.

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Family Medicine, Academic

AdventHealth Graduate Medical Education in Orlando, Florida is looking for a dynamic, hardworking, and broadly skilled Family Medicine physician with a passion for teaching. This doctor would serve as one of the key faculty members in an academic role within the Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency Program. He or she would focus on outpatient medicine while teaching our residents and medical students. The physician's duties will include his or her own personal family medicine clinic, precepting residents and medical students, giving didactic lectures, constructing curricula and evaluating residents and medical students. There is an opportunity to incorporate OMM into both clinical care and teaching. There is also an opportunity to become the Associate Program Director and/or the Osteopathic Recognition Director.

The ideal candidate would have experience in academic medicine, demonstrate leadership capabilities, strong communication skills, and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth, formerly Florida Hospital. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not necessary.

This well-established ACGME Accredited Family Medicine Residency with Osteopathic Recognition is based at AdventHealth East Orlando, a 293 bed facility that is part of one of the largest healthcare systems in the country. The Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency at AdventHealth East Orlando, which has been training residents for over 30 years, is among the most progressive training programs in the osteopathic profession. The foundation for our family medicine residency is derived from the dedication of our faculty, continuity family medicine and pediatric clinics, didactic programs and innovative technology. We teach twenty four residents each academic year, ONMM3 residents, and osteopathic medical students. We are a core site for third year students from the Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University.

Board Certification in Family Medicine (AOBFP or ABFM) and in NMM (AOBNMM) is required.

Location: Celebration, FL - Specialty: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine

AdventHealth Senior Care is searching for an empathetic, high quality physician to join our faith-based organization in our brand-new state of the art facility in Celebration. We are in search of our final physician to join the group of (3) total physicians and (1) advanced practice provider dedicated to coordinating and delivering whole person care to those 65 and older.  The practice is a Medicare full risk clinic and candidates will require a desire to manage and treat the full spectrum of needs in this senior population.  The physician will be committed to utilizing the full spectrum of their training skills for chronic disease management, acute issues, and prevent unnecessary referrals to specialists.  The physician will be expected to manage a smaller panel size in conjunction with an expanded care team.  This team will include multiple health coaches per physician, a practice RN, and embedded social worker, HCC coding support, and remote pharmacy consultation.  The focus for this practice will include increased quality, increased patient satisfaction, reduction in unnecessary utilization of health care resources, and delivery of whole person care.

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible physician in the specialties of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
  • Fellowship in Geriatrics or Population Health is additive but not required.
  • Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (or Board Eligibility within 3 years of completing a US based residency program)
  • Proficiency with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to joint injections, minor dermatologic procedures, basic gynecologic care is preferred.
