The AdventHealth Transplant Institute is seeking a dynamic, fellowship-trained transplant advanced heart failure cardiologist to join the thoracic transplant team.   The new cardiologist would work in an exciting and thriving CMS approved transplant program with full hospital support.   Physician would have the benefit of cross coverage for transplant call and work with a comprehensive team including surgeons, cardiologists, coordinators, dieticians, pharmacists, therapists and social workers.  The Transplant Institute also offers a vibrant and growing Ventricular Assist Device program as well and a fully developed ECMO program.   Volumes in 2018 included 55 transplants and 68 VAD’s and we are a top ten transplant center in the US for the last two years.    

Requirements of the position include: 

  • Fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant
  • BE/BC is required in Cardiovascular Disease with BE/BC in Advanced Heart Failure.

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic and energetic invasive cardiologist to join our team in our Altamonte Springs location (Formerly Florida Heart Group).  Cardiologists must be proficient in all forms of non-invasive cardiology in addition to diagnostic cardiac catheterization. 

Responsibilities will include both inpatient and outpatient care, in addition to some group call coverage at times.

AdventHealth Medical Group formerly Florida Hospital Medical Group is looking for two dynamic and energetic invasive/noninvasive (non-interventional) cardiologists to join our team at AdventHealth Celebration (website).    These cardiologists must be proficient in performing nuclear tests and preferably TEE’s.  This employed opportunity would total four cardiologists to start as we launch a new Acute MI/PCI program at AdventHealth Celebration formerly Florida Hospital CelebrationHealth, led by Dr. Rohit Bhatheja.  Practice in a beautiful location, approximately 30 minutes south of downtown Orlando.  This would be an excellent opportunity to help start and grow a program in a hospital with over 80,000 emergency visits per year and the closest hospital in proximity to Walt Disney World.

AdventHealth is continuing to grow its comprehensive and successful 24/7 ICU model and are seeking dynamic critical care fellowship trained physicians to be part of our expanding team. We have the following positions available around the greater Orlando area with growth potential and opportunities for teaching as well:

  • AdventHealth Celebration- Primarily Day Shift  (Med/Surg and Cardiac ICU)
  • AdventHealth Apopka – Medical Surgical Intensivists

This employment opportunity is for critical care fellowship trained physicians with an interest in a hospital only setting covering Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, and CV ICU's. Ideal candidates will have two years experience in Critical Care Medicine, although new fellowship grads will be considered as well. 14 shifts per month will provide full time benefits. Set schedule/shifts, competitive salary/benefits and a collegial cross-coverage team are just some of the attractive aspects of this opportunity.

The AHDI is a nationally recognized program including consistent recognition in Endocrinology by U.S. News and World Report. We serve as a teaching site for internal medicine residents and medical students.  We also participate in clinical research in the areas of diabetes, obesity and metabolism in partnership with our Translational Research Institute for Metabolism and Diabetes.

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Family Medicine, Academic

AdventHealth Graduate Medical Education in Orlando, Florida is looking for a dynamic, hardworking, and broadly-skilled Family Medicine physician with a passion for teaching. This doctor would serve as one of the key faculty members in an academic role within the Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency Program. He or she would focus on outpatient medicine while teaching our residents and medical students. The physician's duties will include rotating between their own personal clinic and precepting residents in an outpatient setting. Ideal candidate would have experience in private or academic medicine, demonstrate leadership capabilities, strong communication skills, and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth, formerly Florida Hospital. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not necessary.

This well-established residency program is based at AdventHealth East Orlando, a 293 bed facility that is part of one of the largest healthcare systems in the country. The Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency at AdventHealth East Orlando, which has been training residents for over 30 years, is among the most progressive training programs in the osteopathic profession. The foundation for our family medicine residency is derived from the dedication of our faculty, continuity family medicine and pediatric clinics, didactic programs and innovative technology. We teach eight new residents each academic year, fellows in the "Plus One" NMM program, and osteopathic medical students. Our main medical school affiliation is with Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and the program is a core rotation site for 3rd year medical students from this school.

Board Certification in Family Medicine (AOA or ABMS) is required.
