The Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children (AHFC) - formerly Florida Hospital for Children - and AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) - formerly Florida Hospital Medical Group - are looking for a dynamic and team-oriented non-invasive Pediatric Cardiologist to be part of their growing program.  The ideal candidate would have training and background in fetal and transesophageal echocardiography and be willing to perform both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.   The candidate must be board certified or eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.

AdventHealth (formerly Florida Hospital) for Children is seeking Pediatric Intensivists to join our growing team which is expanding to 12 physicians.  Depending on background and training, responsibilities of the new physician will include clinical time in our CICU (10 beds) or the Med/Surg ICU (22 beds).  We have an active Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Program, a pediatric residency program with six residents per year and clinical research opportunities.

Requirements include:

AdventHealth, formerly Florida Hospital, Medical Group is seeking an experienced, board certified Pediatrician to anchor a new practice in Winter Garden, Florida – one of Central Florida’s fastest growing family friendly communities. This practice will be part of a well-established, academically oriented practice with 3 offices and counting!

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
  • Prefer at least 3-5 years’ experience in all aspects of Pediatric care (newborn through age 18)
  • Board Certification in Pediatrics (or Board Eligibility if less than 5 years out of training)
  • Experience with supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN and/or PA-C)
  • Proficiency with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to: circumcisions, vaccinations, CLIA waived labs

Physician Expectations:

  • Willingness to cover the practice’s inpatient Pediatric patients at multiple AdventHealth campuses (Altamonte, Apopka, Orlando) – excellent neonatal coverage provided at all locations
  • Shared practice call coverage for evenings and weekends (approximately 1:7)

The Walt Disney Pavilion at Advent Health (formerly Florida Hospital) for Children and AdventHealth (formerly Florida Hospital) Medical Group are looking for two dynamic and team-oriented Pediatric Infectious Disease physicians to be part of their team.   New physicians would work primarily in an inpatient setting in a consultative service.  Other responsibilities will include participation in the antimicrobial stewardship program, Infection Control and teaching to residents and students.

Location: Altamonte Springs, FL - Specialty: Pediatric, Neonatology

We are looking for a dynamic, innovative, and energetic neonatologist as we expand our group at the Level 2 NICU at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, formerly Florida Hospital Altamonte – approximately 10 miles north of downtown Orlando, Florida.  This physician would work with one other Neonatologist, in a new 10 bed level 2 NICU.  Altamonte has approximately 2,500 deliveries per year. These physicians will be supported by the quaternary care NICU at AdventHealth for Children, with a seamless transport process for infants that need a higher level of care.

You would be part of a larger group of neonatologists that are part of AdventHealth for Children Orlando, formerly Florida Hospital for Children. Depending on your interest, you would also be able to rotate for two different (three week) blocks at our Level 3 NICU. Our regional network includes a delivery volume of approximately 15,000 births per year. We have a dedicated Neonatal transport team and are supported by experienced Pediatric Subspecialists.

The new physician joining the group should be board certified in pediatrics and board certified/eligible through the Sub-Board of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.

AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are looking for a dynamic Pediatric Neuro Oncologist to join our team of pediatric cancer specialists based at The Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando, Florida.  The ideal candidate would have clinical experience post fellowship and be interested in an active clinical opportunity.  New physician would help to develop the program and work with our dedicated team of oncologists, pediatric neurosurgeons and radiation oncologists.  We also have over 200 families in our Neurofibromatosis multi-disciplinary program that is currently housed in the pediatric oncology practice.  Our hospital is part of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) and actively participates in over 40 open COG clinical trials.

The Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children (AHFC), formerly Florida Hospital for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) are looking for a dynamic and team-oriented Pediatric Epileptologist to join our Level IV Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Program led by Dr. Ki Hyeong Lee and Dr. James Baumgartner. (website).  Diagnostic facility includes a state-of-art 3T intra-operative MRIs, PET, SPECT, and MEG center.  We have acquired both Monteris Laser Ablation system and ROSA Stereo EEG system.  

The physician would work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team including pharmacology, psychology, pediatric neurology, pediatric radiology and pediatric neurosurgery. In addition to the clinical team, 3 PhD researchers are embedded in the team to engage in epilepsy-neuroscience research. Our goal is to become a nationally leading pediatric epilepsy center that is research based, data driven and led by experts.

Michael Keating and Pablo Gomez and continue to develop our outstanding program in Orlando, Florida.  We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic team player who is interested in seeing all types of cases and patients.  Our unparalleled network of 27 hospitals in the state with one children’s hospital at the center provides an excellent opportunity for practice growth and professional development. 

Responsibilities of the new physician leader will include:  growing into high volume outpatient clinics with a wide variety of patients from age 0 – 18, outreach clinics (currently providing care in three locations) and inpatient coverage in equal rotation with other group members. Location: Altamonte Springs, FL - Specialty: Physical Medicine and Rehab

AdventHealth Medical Group Spine Health at Altamonte Springs is looking for a dynamic and team-oriented Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to join our established destination program.  This position is for a PM&R trained physician to help build and grow the practice in new markets around the Orlando area.  This opportunity is focused on growing our satellite offices, all within a 15-30 minute drive from our main office located in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The new physician will have the ability to shape his/her practice based on subspecialty interests. 

With the leadership of Dr. Chetan Patel, Medical Director, this physician will have the opportunity to provide the best care and treatment options for spine care patients.  We have full multidisciplinary services at Spine Health at Altamonte Springs that include rehab and sports medicine, wellness, psychology, pain medicine, procedures, and outcomes-based research.  The position would be based predominantly in an outpatient setting for patient consultations and EMG procedures. 

Physicians with an academic interest would find this position appealing as Dr. Patel is actively engaged in multiple FDA and European clinical trials and continues to serve as a faculty member for multiple spine societies.  He is a Robotics and Navigation Section Chairman for the North American Spine Society.  At AdventHealth Medical Group Spine Health at Altamonte Springs, he has helped establish a comprehensive research database on operative and non-operative treatment of spine patients with the goal of reporting outcomes based on evidence based spinal treatment and refining clinical algorithms.   The new physician would have the opportunity to teach, participate in our research database and author multiple publications.
