AdventHealth is looking for a dynamic, hardworking board-certified Family or Internal Medicine trained physician to work as a Hospitalist.  Physician will join an existing inpatient practice affiliated with the Allopathic Family Medicine residency but will serve in a clinical only role.

Ideal candidate should expect:

· 7 on/7 off work schedule

· Night shifts (7pm – 7am)

· No call required

· Average patient census of 18 per day, per physician

· Open ICU with specialist support

· Procedures optional

A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. As a part of one of the fastest growing communities in Central Florida, AdventHealth East Orlando caters to the east Orange County population. This market consists of the popular Waterford Lakes, Avalon Park, Lake Nona and University of Central Florida areas. Many of our patients come to us through our newly designed emergency department featuring 65 private patient rooms and a separate pediatric department staffed with fellowship trained pediatric emergency physicians. AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a dynamic and energetic Part-Time Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa, working in partnership with AdventHealth for Children/Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando. This position offers the opportunity to practice within a growing, collaborative network providing comprehensive pediatric care across Central Florida.

Position Highlights:

  • Provide pediatric admissions for our 15-bed Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit
  • Support emergency department pediatric consults and participate in daily family-centered rounding
  • Provide coverage in the Level I Newborn Nursery with the support of an Advanced Practice Provider
  • Flexible schedule: approximately 7 twelve-hour shifts per month (days, nights, and weekends)

  • 28-bed Level III NICU with 24/7 Neonatologist coverage

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a dynamic, energetic intensivist to join our Medical & Cardiac ICU team. This is an opportunity to practice high-acuity critical care alongside an experienced, established group of intensivists and a collaborative multidisciplinary team — with a meaningful academic role built in.

About the role:

• Provide high-quality critical care across our medical and cardiac-medical ICUs, including shifts at our South campus quaternary care center and other moderate-to-large ICUs within the Central Florida Division.

• Contribute to teaching and mentorship in partnership with our Internal Medicine Residency and Critical Care Fellowship programs.

• Help shape the future of our critical care service through ongoing program development.

Responsibilities:

• Support clinical quality in the Medical ICU, including quality metrics and participation in quality assurance teams.

• Educate advanced practice providers (APPs), critical care fellows, and new staff.
• Participate in program development and growth initiatives.

Requirements:

• Board certification in Critical Care Medicine (ABIM).

• Experience in medical ICU settings.

The Group

You will become the tenth BC/BE Maternal Fetal Medicine physician in our growing, state-of-the-art program that includes seven full-time and two part-time BC MFM physicians and 3 perinatal NP's. You will provide expert care in prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, and MFM consultation in our AIUM-certified practice. You will work with our group of talented sonographers who actively participate in monthly training and a vigorous quality review program.

You will have the opportunity to hone your teaching skills with medical students and our OB/GYN residents. A collaborative team of medical staff, physicians and APPs will round out your office work family.

You will have the support of our Hospital Perinatal Nurse Coordinator and our “Coordinated Care for Kids” program to connect moms-to-be with the right specialists in MFM, OB, neonatology, genetics, and the pediatric subspecialty groups.

Monthly meetings with our neonatology and pediatric colleagues foster a strong relationship between our teams. Occasional opportunities to staff the OB/GYN residency High Risk Obstetric Clinic exist. Experience in fetal echocardiography or CVS is welcomed.

This individual will shape the future of MFM training within a nationally recognized women’s health program. The Program Director will ensure excellence in clinical education, scholarly activity, and patient-centered care while fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

AdventHealth Medical Group – High Risk Pregnancy | Celebration, FL

AdventHealth Medical Group’s High Risk Pregnancy team is seeking a BC/BE Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to join our growing, nationally recognized program. You will join the tenth MFM physician in our state-of-the-art program, which currently includes seven full-time and two part-time board-certified MFM physicians, supported by three perinatal nurse practitioners. This is a 100% consultative practice with no deliveries. This role offers meaningful academic involvement, including teaching opportunities with medical students and OB/GYN residents, within a collaborative and supportive environment made up of physicians, APPs, nurses, and administrative professionals.

AdventHealth Medical Group and AdventHealth for Children is seeking a pediatric cardiology medical director to join our multi-disciplinary pediatric and adult congenital cardiology team. The cardiologist would work in an exciting and thriving program with the full AdventHealth healthcare system support (50+ hospitals across nine states including 30 in Florida). The physician would have the benefit of cross coverage for call and work with a comprehensive team including surgeons, cardiologists, coordinators, dieticians, pharmacists, therapists and social workers. The role will be 0.8 FTE clinical and 0.2 FTE administrative (32 hours per month, not to exceed 384 per year).

Non-Invasive Cardiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and Electrophysiologists encouraged to apply.

Requirements for the position: Board Certification in pediatric cardiology. Additional subspecialty board certification as applicable for sub-specialization. High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians should apply. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Previous leadership in similar role is preferred.

Location: Daytona Beach, FL - Specialty: Neonatal - Perinatal Medicine

AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are looking for a dynamic and energetic Neonatologist to join our team at AdventHealth Daytona Beach in association with AdventHealth for Children/Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando.  

The Neonatologist would be responsible for but not limited to covering the 16 bed NICU at AH Daytona along with participating in daily family centered rounding and attending high risk deliveries.  The schedule would consist of both restricted (8hrs of in-house coverage) and unrestricted call (call within a 20-30 min response time) resulting in approximately 15 shifts per month.

AdventHealth Daytona Beach has partnered with AdventHealth for Children with a vision to create and deliver high quality pediatric care elevating the local market and keeping kids close to home with a seamless connection to quaternary services.  We provide full coverage of pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists at AdventHealth Daytona Beach.  This close collaboration also provides the ability for full quaternary services as needed through our expansive network of AdventHealth for Children.

AdventHealth for Children Walt Disney Pavilion

As part of the AdventHealth Daytona Beach collaboration with the Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children, patients will have the support of a full service, tertiary children’s hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 30 pediatric ICU beds with a dedicated peds CICU, a 102 bed NICU, 17 bed pediatric emergency department and statewide pediatric network and transport system.  We started our comprehensive pediatric open heart program in 2012 and have a strong track record of positive outcomes.  We also have several key destination programs including our level IV Epilepsy program, the region’s only BMT and solid organ transplants including kidney and liver, and we increased Orlando area NICU beds to 150 total in 2017.  Our unparalleled network consists of 30 hospitals across the state with one children’s hospital at the center totals over 23,000 births and several extremely successful pediatric subspecialty programs including outreach clinics.  Our newest program has brought pediatric liver transplant services to Central Florida.
