AdventHealth for Children is looking for a Neonatologist to be the dedicated physician at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, Florida. One of our partner affiliates, Cape Canaveral Hospital is a 150 bed hospital on the east coast of Florida, approximately 50 minutes from Orlando. Live and work near the beautiful Atlantic Ocean beaches and shores of the Banana River. Port Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Experience are also just a short drive.

Responsibilities of the new physician will include: On call from home for deliveries and C sections after daily rounds. Daily coverage and rounding on babies in newborn nursery. Higher acuity infants are stabilized and transferred. Hospital averages approximately 600-700 births per year with an average daily census of 6-7 patients. NO STATE INCOME TAX!! Signing bonus, relocation, and set base compensation with an incentive plan make this an appealing position for the right physician! There is also one long weekend (Friday – Sunday) each month with no call obligation.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is seeking a board certified nephrologist to join a robust practice located in  Daytona Beach, Florida.  AHMG is seeking a partner  with the desire to build a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians.  Strong referral base and access to supporting specialists would allow physicians to quickly build a robust patient base and provide a continuum of care.

AdventHealth Cancer Institute (AHCI) based in Orlando, Florida, is looking for a dynamic leader to serve as Medical Director of our Neuro-Oncology program.  This experienced, innovative, and energetic leader will help grow our program and manage neuro-oncology patients in our busy, high-volume practice (we have over 100 gliomas per year). The practice includes a dedicated social worker and dedicated chemotherapy nurse, with multiple satellites for chemo infusion at various locations.  AHCI also has a Gamma Knife, stereotactic radiosurgery, Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy, and an extensive, statewide radiation oncology program, including a CNS-trained radiation oncologist.

Ideal Medical Director Skills and Expertise include:

  • Minimum of eight years of experience post-Fellowship training

AdventHealth Neuroscience Institute and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a fellowship trained Behavioral Neurologist for our expanding program in Central Florida. We are open to training backgrounds in the following: Neurology residency with fellowship training in Behavioral Neurology; Geriatric psychiatry with expertise in Alzheimer's Disease; or finally Psychiatry residency with fellowship training in Behavioral Neurology.  New physician would join with our existing team of neurologists and lead Behavioral Neurology care at our Winter Park outpatient clinic. 

The medical director will work to achieve top quartile performance in the care of patients with cognitive and behavioral disease, such as Alzheimer’s and Dementia.  They will participate/lead innovative research that is publishable, design business models that combine both evidence-based medicine and patient care pathways that support efficient flow, reduction in costs and excellent patient outcomes. The Medical Director is responsible for providing direction for the development and clinical performance of the Behavioral Neurology Program with areas of focus in: Program Building; Clinical Quality and Performance Improvement; and Innovation, Teaching and Research.

We are growing into one comprehensive team that will help to grow outpatient practices.  The behavioral neurologist would join our already existing subspecialty leaders in movement disorders, neuromuscular medicine, neuroimmunology, and headache medicine in a growing destination neurology program that treats patients and contributes to the body of knowledge through research. We also have an expanding team of general neurology as well across the system.

AdventHealth Orlando is continuing to grow its Neuroscience Institute with a new Brain Health flagship building opening in 2022.  Our Neuro Critical Care Fellowship was accredited by the UCNS in early 2019.  Our Neuroscience Institute at AdventHealth Orlando consists of 120 dedicated neurology beds which includes 40 neuro-intensive care units, 8 dedicated neurosurgical OR suites with an intraoperative 3T MRI and 64 slice CT, FDG-PET, SPECT, and MEG lab.  AdventHealth Orlando has been awarded the highest designation, a Level 4 Epilepsy Center, by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC). AdventHealth Neurology and Neurosurgery is a top 15 program in US News & World Report year after year.

AdventHealth also has an advanced comprehensive stroke center providing endovascular procedures 24/7. Our neurosurgery program performed more craniotomy and spine surgery than any other hospitals in Florida. Our minimally invasive brain surgery program is one of the best in the state and draws patients nationally and internationally.  We also have a fully developed DBS program.

The Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is looking for a dynamic and energetic pediatric neurologist to join a fast growing multidisciplinary pediatric neuroscience program to help further develop general and subspecialty neuroscience programs. 

Currently, the pediatric neuroscience center at AdventHealth for Children has a level IV comprehensive epilepsy center, sleep center, multidisciplinary neurofibromatosis clinic, Tuberous Sclerosis Complex clinic, congenital neurosurgery clinic, and craniofacial clinic supported by a strong group of neuroradiologists and neuropsychologists.  The hospital has a 20 bed dedicated neuroscience inpatient unit with an embedded 8 bed epilepsy monitoring unit which will grow to 24 beds in a newly renovated neuroscience floor.  Diagnostic facility includes a state-of-art 3T MRIs, PET, SPECT, and MEG center.  

Responsibilities of the new physician will include our comprehensive general neurology service in both inpatient and outpatient settings.  Subspecialty program interests can certainly be developed as well (neuromuscular, neonatal, neurocutaneous syndrome, movement disorder, and spasticity).

AHMG Neuropsychology located in Winter Park, Florida is seeking to hire a clinical neuropsychologist to provide comprehensive neuropsychological services to our diverse patient population with an emphasis on adults 16+ years of age. We are seeking a fellowship trained, board eligible/certified clinical neuropsychologist with experience in assessment and treatment of a wide range of neurological, cognitive, and behavioral conditions. This may include adults presenting with a history of childhood onset conditions, new onset adult neurological injury and/or disease, and neurodegenerative disorders. The neuropsychology team is part of the AdventHealth Neuroscience program and works closely with multiple multidisciplinary medical teams including neurosurgery, oncology, memory disorder clinic, and rehabilitation medicine to provide services to patients with a wide range of conditions.

General Summary:

• Typical referrals include: Medical and neurological conditions such as TBI, concussion, brain tumor, seizure disorder, autoimmune disorders, memory disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions.

• The provider will also see: Adults presenting with ADHD, learning disability, developmental delays, and neuro-behavioral disorders with anxiety, depression, and other co-morbid psychosocial, behavioral and psychiatric concerns.

• This position is primarily clinical and heavily assessment focused; however, delivery of psychotherapy and treatment is also expected (approximately 10-20%) primarily in following patients initially seen for neuropsychological evaluation.

• There are ample opportunities for supervision of graduate students and post-doctoral fellows, and participation in didactic seminars as presented and attendee (e.g., tumor boards, grand rounds).

• The possibility of conducting research is also available.

• Provide comprehensive services including assessment, parent and family consultation and education, and interventions for patients.

• Work closely with AdventHealth’s Sports Concussion Program and local high school athletic programs, performing brief and comprehensive assessments, concussion management, and education regarding return to play.

AdventHealth for Women in Orlando, Florida and Loch Haven OB/GYN are looking for a dynamic and experienced, board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physician to immediately join a team in launching the expansion of this nationally-recognized practice which operates on a high acuity case mix with a focus on high risk pregnancies and minimally invasive surgery. Loch Haven OB/GYN is an extremely dynamic practice.  We care for both low- and high-risk pregnancies, patients requiring advanced minimally invasive surgery.  This employed group is looking for a dedicated physician with a strong work ethic to join the team.  Our team has a strong focus on providing safe, efficient, cost-effective care to patients in an environment of mutual respect and collaboration.  Loch Haven was the first Ob/Gyn practice in the United States to receive formal certification from the ACOG “SCOPE” office safety program!  Our physicians and midwives commonly receive extremely high patient satisfaction survey scores. 

The physician will take call with the other physicians and have the opportunity to provide personable, state-of-the-art obstetric care, including routine pregnancy, high risk conditions, cesarean delivery, and cesarean hysterectomy.  Our team also sees many interesting gynecologic patients and has a busy surgical practice.  In contrast to national statistics, approximately 90% of hysterectomies performed by our team are done vaginally or laparoscopically.  If desired, our physicians may serve as faculty for a minimally invasive gynecologic surgery fellowship.  Although not a requirement for employment, our team has access to the Da Vinci robot if desired.  We have published in prestigious journals and serve as journal reviewers.  There is the opportunity for research and research mentoring if desired.   We often have medical students rotating through our private practice and teach resident physicians in the hospital.  Applicants should be interested in being highly effective medical educators.

AdventHealth is seeking experienced part-time or per diem Obstetrician/Gynecologists to support our OBGYN Hospitalist programs in Orlando, Winter Park, Celebration, Altamonte Springs, Melbourne, Deltona, and Daytona.  Candidates will join our team of physicians and midwives supporting campuses in central Florida.  Responsibilities of the OBGYN Hospitalist include provision of in-house obstetric coverage for unassigned and emergent obstetric patients; act as surgical assist to staff Ob/Gyn physicians upon request; manage and cover the OB Triage unit; accept and manage maternal transfers; and provide appropriate oversight and clinical teaching of medical students, family medicine residents and other learners.  A motivation to increase patient safety and elevate patient satisfaction, along with dynamic communication skills and the ability to fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth, are required.

We are seeking physicians with the following qualifications:
