Family Medicine, General

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for an exceptional Family Medicine physician to join our growing practice in Winter Garden, Florida. Become part of an established, 100% outpatient Primary Care practice in one of Central Florida’s fastest growing communities! Ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine is required (Board Eligibility considered if less than 3 years post-residency)

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic and energetic Primary Care physician to join an established Geriatric Primary Care practice in beautiful Lake County, FL (about 45 minutes north of Downtown Orlando)! This position offers exceptional work-life balance seeing patients in an outpatient only setting (no ER/inpatient rounding or SNF work is required).

With quick access to Orlando International Airport, the theme parks and coastal beaches, Tavares is a family friendly community with an abundance of outdoor activities.

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with a preference for Geriatric Fellowship trained physicians
  • Proficiency with minor office based procedures including, but not limited to: joint injections, minor dermatologic procedures, basic gynecologic care
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all segments of our population, including presenting at health fairs
  • Experience with supervising Advanced Practice Providers (ARNP & PA-C)
  • Ability to work a set schedule, which may include early morning and/or evening hours to meet PCMH requirements for patient access

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG), formerly Florida Hospital Medical Group, is looking for a dynamic and energetic Gastroenterologist to serve the needs of east Orlando.  Located onsite at AdventHealth East Orlando, AHMG Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking a partner with the desire to build a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians. 

Ideal candidate should expect:

  • Daily work schedule of outpatient and inpatient care
  • Desire to handle a very high-volume case load
  • Practice all aspects of general Gastroenterology
  • Busy ED call at one hospital
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Comprehensive benefits package including occurrence-based malpractice, CME allowance/days, paid leave days, 403b retirement plan, life insurance, long term disability, relocation allowance

A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. The new physician should have the desire to join a busy practice and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth.  Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.

AdventHealth Orlando, formerly Florida Hospital, in Orlando, Florida is looking for a dynamic and experienced, board-certified Gastroenterologist to serve as Program Director and launch the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program. This employment opportunity is for a gastroenterologist who has a passion for teaching. This position would lead a state-of-the-art program based at a tertiary facility of 1289 beds. Ranked by US News and World Report, Florida Hospital has consistently been awarded “Best Hospital” in the state of Florida.

AdventHealth would like to continue developing its emerging institute for Digestive Health under the direction of the new program director.  Using the institute framework to connect the digestive health services and drive a coordinated approach will be crucial in developing these service lines.  As part of this gastroenterology development, the fellowship program is an integral part of this growth.  The new program director will not only lead the fellowship from infancy but will outline a vision related to our gastroenterology department.  The ideal candidate should have several years of academic experience, leadership over a GI section, and program development experience.

Anticipated to launch in 2020, this approved program will accept two fellows per year, working with faculty from across our digestive health institute. 

Ideal candidate should bring a vision to increase academic activity including research, posters, and presentations. Dynamic communication skills and the ability to fit within the mission and vision of Florida Hospital are required.

Requirements: Minimum of five years’ faculty experience as a Program Director or an Associate Program Director. Physician must be board certified in Gastroenterology through the ABMS.

AdventHealth Medical Group Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking a dynamic and energetic, board certified Gastroenterologist to join their busy, established practice in beautiful Kissimmee, Florida. Advanced Practice Provider AHMG General Opportunity.

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Hematology / Oncology

AdventHealth Cancer Institute, formerly Florida Hospital Cancer Institute, is looking for a dynamic, charismatic, and experienced oncologist to lead our Breast Medical Oncology Program.  The Breast Oncology Medical Director is responsible for the development and deployment of tumor specific pathways and standards of care as well as the clinical/translational research agenda.  This position will also provide leadership to achieve clinical quality improvement outcomes, as well as to achieve efficiency of care improvement outcomes.  AdventHealth Cancer Institute in the Central Florida area sees over 1000 newly diagnosed breast cancer cases each year. 

The Medical Director will collaborate with academia, industry and physicians to advance innovation through clinical trials and will provide leadership to advance patient experience outcomes. The position is based in Orlando, Florida and is part of our Cancer Institute, with locations across a regional network of 8 hospitals. 

A majority of this position is administrative time, with a portion of clinical work as well.  This practice is a part of AdventHealth Medical Group, formerly Florida Hospital Medical Group. Location: Kissimmee, FL - Specialty: Hematology / Oncology

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a fellowship trained hem/onc physician to join a busy three-physician practice with offices at AdventHealth Kissimmee and AdventHealth Celebration, just south of downtown Orlando and near the attractions.  The ideal candidate will have experience building a general inpatient and outpatient practice with a variety of oncology patients.  General hematology/oncology with subspecialty in GI is preferred but the group is certainly open to other interests. Rotation of call would include both inpatient and outpatient in equal share with the other physicians. 

The new physician would be part of our AdventHealth Cancer Institute with resources to participate in clinical trials and daily tumor boards. Infusion and radiation oncology are (or will be) present at both Kissimmee and Celebration locations.
