AdventHealth is continuing to grow its comprehensive and successful 24/7 ICU model and are seeking a dynamic critical care fellowship trained physician to be part of our expanding team. We have an amazing leadership opportunity at one of our established and growing campuses, AdventHealth Heart of Florida.  This is an ideal position for someone looking to lead and continue to develop a program within a thriving hospital system.  Will be responsible for establishing protocols in line with evidence-based medicine, standardized care models, staffing, scheduling, education/training will full clinical responsibilities in the unit.  AH Heart of Florida is well known to the community, with an established reputation while continuing to enhance and expand its medical and surgical services.  It is also an area that has been recognized as one the fastest growing counties in the state of Florida.

This employment opportunity is for critical care fellowship trained physicians with an interest in a hospital only setting covering Medical ICU and Surgical ICU. Ideal candidates will have at least two years’ experience in Critical Care Medicine.  14 shifts per month will provide full time benefits. In addition to the 14 shifts per month, approximately 8 hours a month would be required to complete the administrative responsibilities of the position which includes additional compensation.  Set schedule/shifts, competitive salary/benefits and a collegial cross-coverage team are just some of the attractive aspects of this opportunity.

AdventHealth Graduate Medical Education in Orlando, Florida is looking for a dynamic, hardworking, and broadly skilled Family Medicine physician with a passion for teaching. This doctor would serve as one of the key faculty members in an academic role within the Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency Program. He or she would focus on outpatient medicine while teaching our residents and medical students. The physician's duties will include his or her own personal family medicine clinic, precepting residents and medical students, giving didactic lectures, constructing curricula and evaluating residents and medical students. There is an opportunity to incorporate OMM into both clinical care and teaching. There is also an opportunity to become the Associate Program Director and/or the Osteopathic Recognition Director.

The ideal candidate would have experience in academic medicine, demonstrate leadership capabilities, strong communication skills, and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth, formerly Florida Hospital. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not necessary.

This well-established ACGME Accredited Family Medicine Residency with Osteopathic Recognition is based at AdventHealth East Orlando, a 293 bed facility that is part of one of the largest healthcare systems in the country. The Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency at AdventHealth East Orlando, which has been training residents for over 30 years, is among the most progressive training programs in the osteopathic profession. The foundation for our family medicine residency is derived from the dedication of our faculty, continuity family medicine and pediatric clinics, didactic programs and innovative technology. We teach twenty four residents each academic year, ONMM3 residents, and osteopathic medical students. We are a core site for third year students from the Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University.

Board Certification in Family Medicine (AOBFP or ABFM) and in NMM (AOBNMM) is required.

AdventHealth Medical Group Community Medicine Clinic in Orlando, Florida is looking for a dynamic, hardworking, and broadly-skilled Family Medicine physician to serve as Medical Director.  This opportunity will lead the way in serving the needs of our low-income, non-urgent, uninsured patients as well as teaching Family Medicine residents and students.   

Ideal candidate should expect:

  • Only Outpatient work

  • Split Clinical /Administrative time (70% / 30%)

AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine at Leesburg, is looking for a dynamic and energetic Primary Care physician to join brand new state of the art practice in beautiful Lake County. This facility is to be completed by the end of 2022 and will house 3 physicians and 2 APPs. Leesburg is a progressive city located in Central Florida and is also the central hub for commerce in Lake County. It is home to Venetian Gardens, and the city hosts year round events and festivals.
