Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Radiation Oncology

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic and energetic Radiation Oncologist to join the team. Our group of over 20 radiation oncologists provides services among many of the AdventHealth sites throughout the Central Florida area including the east coast of Florida. This position is for full-time coverage at an AdventHealth facility and would encompass a broad spectrum of oncology cases and patients. 

Our group is focused on providing superior clinical quality and high patient satisfaction.  The physicians utilize technology and innovation to further clinical research and work collaboratively with the medical staff and radiation staff.  There is also additional support from our AdventHealth Cancer Institute and our physician leadership for clinical sub-specialization by tumor site and participation in a multi-disciplinary care model.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology
  • Team player with patient-first mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, Spanish speaking a plus, but not required.
  • Eligibility for active Florida license
  • Ability to collaborate closely and build relationships with key referral partners

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Radiation Oncology

AdventHealth Cancer Institute (AHCI) based in Orlando, Florida, is looking for a dynamic leader to serve as Medical Director of our statewide Radiation Oncology program.   This experienced, innovative and energetic leader will manage radiation oncology services and lead our statewide group ~ 20 radiation oncologists across 13 locations. The group provides services among many of the AdventHealth sites throughout the Central Florida area including the east coast of Florida. The Medical Director will lead the vision, strategic direction and clinical product for radiation at AdventHealth.  The Director will focus on clinical quality, education, and clinical research activities that advance the reputation and market position of the radiation therapy program.  The Director will also support clinical sub-specialization by tumor site and participation in a multi-disciplinary care model. 

Specific duties include responsibilities in the following areas:  clinical research, clinical services, marketing and community relations, education, administrative, accreditation, and philanthropy.  The Medical Director will also have a portion of clinical time.  The AHCI is open to areas of subspecialty interest/background. 

Ideal Medical Director Skills and Expertise include:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a hospital-based radiation oncology program (or other cancer based program) preferably within a multi-site system
  • Minimum of eight years of experience post training
  • Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
  • A “thought leader” in the area of radiation oncology
  • Published in peer-reviewed journals
  • Experience in providing clinical education/training in area of specialty
  • Experience and dedication to cancer clinical trials
  • Ability to encourage physician collaboration between employed and private practice physicians
  • Dynamic personality with strong public speaking and interpersonal skills

Location: Central Florida, FL - Specialty: Radiology, Body Imaging

AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology - Central Florida is seeking a full-time, ABR fellowship trained Body Radiologist to join its expanding practice of over 150 radiologists. We are currently the largest radiology practice in Central Florida which includes 40 collegial, dedicated body imagers. Our facilities provide approximately 2.3 million exams via a large referral base of more than 3000 medical staff and stretches from Palm Coast to Celebration, Florida. 

Candidates can expect sub-specialization in body imaging only. No mammo required.

Our main campus is a tertiary referral center for Central Florida with a large cancer and transplant population. This provides a large volume of advanced body MRI. Our hospital system has multiple residency programs including our own residency with 4 residents per year.

Procedure skills in CT and US are welcomed but not required. 

Candidate should expect:

  • Days schedule with occasional evening coverage equal to other day radiologists. Most evenings are covered by dedicated, evenings only radiologists.
  • NO overnight responsibility with subspecialized internal overnight coverage.
  • 1 PACS system (AGFA PACS and PowerScribe systems)

We are currently the largest radiology practice in Central Florida which includes 40 collegial, dedicated body imagers. Option to do teleradiology work: Candidates can live anywhere in the US (except California) and work remotely. The ability to work on site in Central Florida is also available. Candidates with an active Florida license are preferred, but all candidates will be considered.

AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology - Central Florida is seeking a full-time ABR fellowship trained Cardiothoracic Imager to join its expanding practice of 150 radiologists. Our facilities provide approximately 2 million exams via a large referral base of more than 3000 medical staff.

Candidate should expect:

  • No Overnight call
  • 24 hr. 3D post processing lab
  • Practice model is sub-specialty based interpretations
  • 1 PACS system (AGFA PACS and PowerScribe systems)
  • Opportunity to participate in clinical research and resident education

Clinical responsibilities include interpreting all aspects of thoracic and cardiac imaging including radiography, CT, and MR. Familiarity with pediatric and adult congenital heart disease (CHD) would be preferred but not required. Besides the described cardiothoracic studies, the candidates will also have the opportunity to read as much abdominal imaging as they wish. Performing thoracic procedures, mammography, and general radiology is NOT required for this position.

AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology - Central Florida, formerly Radiology Specialists of Florida is seeking a full-time ABR fellowship trained Diagnostic Imager to join its expanding practice of 140 radiologists. This candidate will work at AdventHealth Manchester, formerly Manchester Memorial Hospital in Manchester, Kentucky but support all of our additional facilities under one PACS system. Background in mammography and/or IR a plus, but not necessary. Our facilities provide more than 2 million exams via a large referral base of more than 3000 medical staff.

AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology - Central Florida, formerly Radiology Specialists of Florida, is seeking full-time ABR fellowship trained neuroradiologists to join its expanding practice of 150 radiologists. CAQ in Neuroradiology or CAQ eligible required. We perform approximately 2 million exams per year via a large referral base of more than 3000 medical staff.  Our mission is to consistently provide the highest quality patient centered diagnostic and interventional service to patients and referring physicians, in a cost effective and timely manner.

This position is located in Orlando, Fl and will work 226 shifts a year with 12 weeks off vacation.

Candidate should expect:

  • Read 100% Neuroradiology including CT, MR, XR, and US
  • NO overnight responsibility with subspecialized internal overnight coverage
  • Advanced imaging knowledge is desired including CT Perfusion for stroke and MR Perfusion for brain tumors
  • Performing occasional neuroradiological procedures including lumbar punctures, myelograms, epidural blood patches, and lumbar drain placement.  Neurovascular procedures are performed by dedicated neurointerventionalists in the system.
