The Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is looking for an exceptional and dynamic, fellowship-trained pediatric neurosurgeon to join our program in Orlando, Florida. New physician will be based at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs. The candidate will be an active member of our thoracic surgery service line across central Florida division. The candidate will also have an affiliation with Cancer Institute, participating in clinical trials, tumor board and educational activities. Practice includes all aspects of thoracic surgery (not including lung transplant).
Our highly trained and skilled surgeons care for patients with benign and malignant diseases of the lungs, chest wall, pleural space, and mediastinum. AdventHealth Orlando, Florida is looking for a dynamic and energetic lung transplant surgeon with previous leadership experience (greater than two years preferred) to lead our program. The surgeon will work with our currently experienced and established pulmonology transplant medical/care team to lead our high quality and highly sustainable lung transplant program. We have a full comprehensive Transplant Institute that includes both thoracic and abdominal transplant teams. Our team performs over 50 hearts, 20 lungs, and 30-50 VAD’s per year with multi organ transplant capability.
