AdventHealth Orlando, Florida is looking for a dynamic and energetic thoracic transplant surgery leader with experience post fellowship to join our busy transplant program.  The surgeon will work with our currently experienced and established cardiology transplant medical/care team to help continue to grow a high quality and highly sustainable acute shock, MCS and heart transplant program.  We have a full comprehensive Transplant Institute that includes both thoracic and abdominal transplant teams.  Our team performs over 50 hearts, 20 lungs, and 30-50 VAD’s per year with multi organ transplant capability.   

The AdventHealth Transplant Institute is located at AdventHealth Orlando, Florida just outside downtown Orlando close to the charming Winter Park community.  In 2020, AdventHealth Orlando opened a state of-the-art 32 bed ECMO unit dedicated to the cardio thoracic transplant service.  AdventHealth has a hospital-based organ procurement organization (OurLegacy is a top performing OPO in the United States). 

Transplant Surgeon Requirements:

  • Comprehensive clinical experience in large volume program with advanced cardiac surgery, heart transplant, acute shock, heart failure and mechanical circulatory support
  • Heart Transplant
  • Proven medical leadership experience
  • Board certification by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery 
  • Thoracic transplant fellowship training

The surgeon will work with our currently experienced and established pulmonology and surgery team to lead our high quality and growing lung transplant program.  We have a full comprehensive Transplant Institute that includes both thoracic and abdominal transplant teams.  Our team performs over 50 hearts, 20 lungs, and 30-50 VAD’s per year with multi organ transplant capability, including combined heart and lung transplant.   

The AdventHealth Transplant Institute is located at AdventHealth Orlando, Florida just outside downtown Orlando close to the charming Winter Park community.  AdventHealth Orlando campus opened (in September 2020) a state of-the-art 32 bed critical care and ECMO unit dedicated to the cardio thoracic transplant service.  AdventHealth has a hospital-based organ procurement organization (Our Legacy is a top performing OPO in the United States). 

Transplant Surgeon Requirements:
•    Board certification by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery 
•    Thoracic transplant fellowship training
•    Comprehensive clinical experience in large volume program with advanced cardiac surgery, heart and lung procurement, acute shock, heart failure and mechanical circulatory support
•    Candidates can be a general thoracic surgeon with experience in lung transplant, adult cardiac, or established expertise with lung transplant and shock.
•    Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with private practice and employed models.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for dynamic and energetic Urologists to serve the needs of Volusia, West Volusia and Flagler counties, north of Orlando through the Atlantic coastal line of Florida.   We are comprised of 7 hospitals in the Greater Daytona Beach area, all within the Northeastern/Central region and all within minutes to an hour maximum of each other. AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic and energetic Urologist to join our team in beautiful Flagler County, Florida, just minutes from the beach. The new physician would have support of Advanced Practice Providers as we grow our outpatient presence in Palm Coast. Responsibilities will include inpatient call coverage at the new AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway hospital (100 beds opening in Summer 2023) in rotation with practice partners, as well as outpatient clinic. Robotic surgery is also available at the current AdventHealth Palm Coast (DaVinci Xi).

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic urologist with an interest in a defined schedule and inpatient work to be part of our team at AdventHealth Orlando.  This employment opportunity is for urologists with a primary interest in a hospital setting, some procedures and rounding. Physician would have responsibility to cover inpatient urology consults from the floors and the emergency department.  The surgeon would also have responsibility for some bedside procedures including cystoscopies.  This opportunity works in collaboration and partnership with our traditional, clinic based urologists. 

Part of a subsection of AdventHealth Medical Group Urology, this opportunity includes APP support.  A balanced monthly schedule would include 15 day shifts.  A competitive base salary, strong benefits package, and a collegial cross-coverage team are just some of the attractive aspects of this opportunity.

Physician would have responsibility at both campuses to cover inpatient urology consults from the floors and the emergency department.  The surgeon would also have responsibility for some bedside procedures including cystoscopies.  This opportunity works in collaboration and partnership with our traditional, clinic based urologists. 

Part of a subsection of AdventHealth Medical Group Urology, this opportunity includes APP support at Orlando.  A balanced monthly schedule would include 15 day shifts.  Depending on the campus, there is both restricted and unrestricted call. AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for dynamic and hard-working urologists to join our team in Central Florida.  The new physicians would join our outstanding urologists and help to grow our outpatient presence in new markets in the area.  Responsibilities also include inpatient call coverage at the primary AdventHealth hospital location in rotation with practice partners.  A shared call model with other urologists in town make weekend call less frequent.  Robotic surgery is also available within our system.

Requirements for the position:  Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Urology.  High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians should apply.  Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic and hard-working general urologist to join our team in Central Florida.  The new physician would join three current urologists as part of our Altamonte Springs practice location and help to grow our outpatient presence in the Seminole County market based in the Lake Mary area.  Responsibilities will include inpatient call coverage at the AdventHealth Altamonte Springs location in rotation with partners as well as building a vibrant outpatient practice in Lake Mary.  A shared call model with other urologists and APP’s make weekend call less frequent.  Robotic surgery is also available within our system.  We also have potential ASC investment opportunities. 

Requirements for the position:  Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Urology.  High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians should apply.  Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.  At least three years of experience is preferred.

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic and hard-working urologist to join our team in Central Florida.  The new physician would join two current urologists and help to grow our outpatient presence in the West Orange market based between Winter Garden and Clermont areas.  Responsibilities will include inpatient call coverage at AdventHealth Apopka hospital location in rotation with practice partners, as well as outpatient clinic at Apopka and a new health park in Clermont.  A shared call model with other urologists and APP’s make weekend call less frequent.  Robotic surgery is also available within our system.

Requirements for the position:  Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Urology.  High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians should apply.  Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
