AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic and energetic Colorectal Surgeon to serve the needs of greater Central Florida.  Located at AdventHealth Orlando, AHMG Colorectal Surgery is seeking a partner with the desire to build a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians.  The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on education and minimally invasive colorectal surgery.

The candidate will be part of the largest NAPRC accredited colorectal surgery group in Florida that also has an international reputation in MIS and trans-anal technology. 

A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. The new physician should have the desire to join a busy practice and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic and energetic Colorectal Surgeon to serve the needs of Brevard County.  Candidate will partner with Health First Medical Group located in beautiful Melbourne, Florida.  AHMG Colorectal Surgery is seeking a surgeon with the desire to build a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians and Health First Medical Group employed providers.  Ideal candidate is experienced and comfortable incorporating robotics into their practice.

This opportunity will be an extension of the largest colorectal surgery group in Florida, working with 13 colorectal surgeons and 10 specialized Advanced Practice Providers. This team is the only NAPRC accredited group in Central Florida and has an international reputation in MIS and trans-anal technology.

A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. The new physician should have the desire to build a busy practice and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth.

Requirements for this position include completion of an ACGME approved fellowship for Colon and Rectal Surgery and board certification through the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Surgery, Critical Care

We are looking for a dynamic Surgical Critical Care surgeon to be part of our team at AdventHealth. You would work in conjunction with the four other critical care surgeons, a superb faculty in our general surgery residency program, as well as an amazing team of critical care physicians for ICU coverage. 

  • This is an employment opportunity which would involve a setting with a high amount of acute-care, broad-based emergency surgery (non Level 1 trauma). 
  • This opportunity would be based at AdventHealth Orlando, a large 1,400 bed quaternary facility located just north of downtown Orlando. 
  • The hospital is home to our general surgery residency, internal medicine residency, as well as over 160 ICU beds. 
  • Schedule rotation would include outpatient/elective week, emergent general surgery/acute care surgical call coverage, dedicated surgical critical care coverage within the SICU at AH Orlando or another local AdventHealth facility along with dedicated time off

Candidate can expect the ability to participate in research studies and work with our general surgery residents.

Candidate will be clinically focused and must actively practice all aspects of Gynecological Surgery. A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. Experience is a plus, but a new, fellowship trained physician is welcome. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a team-oriented fellowship trained, board certified/eligible surgical oncologist to lead out as the Director of Melanoma, Sarcoma surgery in the beautiful Orlando, Florida.

  • Experience in programmatic building within the sub-specialty space would be required
  • Development and deployment of tumor specific pathways and standards of care as well as the clinical/translational research agenda
  • Dedicated administrative time

  • Rotation of call would be shared with the other oncology physicians in the practice, including weekends.

AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are looking for a dynamic and energetic full time Pediatric Surgery leader to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa. 

This is a wonderful opportunity to continue to build on our strong practice with our network of hospitals in the Central Florida division.  Responsibilities of the Medical Director will include programmatic development, clinical quality and performance improvement.  Call coverage at AdventHealth Tampa with full time APP support (no trauma, no ECMO at Tampa).   New physician will help grow the outpatient clinic practice and further develop relationships with community physicians with marketing support.
