AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic, energetic and experienced bariatric surgeon to serve the needs of South Orlando.¿ Located at AdventHealth Orlando Hospital, AHMG Bariatric Surgery Program is seeking a second partner to join our comprehensive bariatric surgery program, and to help expand our reach by building and fostering collegial relationships with community-based physicians.¿ All participating AdventHealth Weight Loss and Bariatric Surgery locations across Central Florida are officially recognized by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) as comprehensive centers.¿¿¿  

A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on long-term patient-centered care including excellent patient experience. Ideally, the new surgeon would have extensive experience with minimally invasive surgery, complex revisions, Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Gastrectomies. Robotic surgery experience is welcomed. The new surgeon should also have the desire to join a high volume 100% bariatric surgery practice with a strong focus on telemedicine and outpatient bariatric surgery and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth,

Location: Tavares, FL - Specialty: Surgery, Cardiothoracic

AdventHealth Medical Group is offering an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, experienced cardiothoracic surgeon to join our established team with clinical and administrative responsibilities based at AdventHealth Waterman in Tavares, Florida (just outside Orlando).  Training and interest in structural heart procedures would be preferred.  Must have excellent STS outcomes.  This position will be part of the overall Cardiothoracic Surgical Program across Central Florida as supported by our Heart, Lung, and Vascular Institute.

Our team has expertise in the full gamut of procedures including: beating heart surgery, minimally invasive atrial fibrillation surgery, complex aortic valve and root disorders, minimally invasive valve repair and replacement, extensive experience in VATS procedures including total thoracoscopic lobectomies, and thoracic aortic aneurysms.

AdventHealth Waterman is proud to be the first hospital in north Lake County to receive full accreditation from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care for our Chest Pain Center with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention. AdventHealth is looking for a dynamic, experienced cardiovascular surgeon with aortic expertise to join our established team of surgeons located at AdventHealth Orlando. We have a full complement of nationally recognized core cardiac and Transplant / Assist Devices and Congenital Cardiac programs. These include coronary revascularization, a valve center of excellence, and TVT accredited structural heart programs. We are looking for this new surgeon with specialized skills to help create our Aortic Center of Excellence. Working with a multidisciplinary team including vascular surgery, cardiology, and our cardiothoracic surgeons would be essential to developing the program.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic and energetic Colorectal Surgeon to serve the needs of South Orlando.  Located at AdventHealth Celebration Hospital, AHMG Colorectal Surgery is seeking a partner with the desire to build a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians.  Candidate should have 5+ years experience, actively incorporating robotics into their practice, and have an interest in pelvic floor surgery.   

The candidate will be part of the largest colorectal surgery group in Florida, working with 13 colorectal surgeons and 10 specialized Advanced Practice Providers. This is the only NAPRC accredited group in Central Florida and has an international reputation in MIS and trans-anal technology.

A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. The new physician should have the desire to join a busy practice and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth.

Orlando Neurosurgery is seeking another talented neurosurgeon to join their group of 14 physicians. Orlando Neurosurgery has been the leading provider of Neurosurgery in central Florida for over 20 years. We are the largest group of private practice neurosurgeons in the state and have been providing comprehensive, quaternary level care which includes functional, endovascular, open vascular, complex spine, and minimally invasive brain surgery.  We have access to the latest technology, including intraoperative MRI, interoperative CT, spine robotics, MRGUS, and cover the largest hospital system in the United States.

AdventHealth Orlando is continuing to grow its Neuroscience Institute with a new Brain Health flagship building opening in 2022.  Our Neuro Critical Care Fellowship was accredited by the UCNS in early 2019.  Our Neuroscience Institute at AdventHealth Orlando consists of 120 dedicated neurology beds which includes 40 neuro-intensive care units, 8 dedicated neurosurgical OR suites with an intraoperative 3T MRI and 64 slice CT, FDG-PET, SPECT, and MEG lab.  AdventHealth Orlando has been awarded the highest designation, a Level 4 Epilepsy Center, by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC). 

AdventHealth also has an advanced comprehensive stroke center providing endovascular procedures 24/7. Our neurosurgery program performed more craniotomy and spine surgery than any other hospitals in Florida. Our minimally invasive brain surgery program is one of the best in the state and draws patients nationally and internationally.  We also have a fully developed DBS program.

AdventHealth Cancer Institute (AHCI) is seeking an experienced surgeon to lead our Surgical Oncology program in Orlando, FL. Primarily focusing on pancreatic and hepatobiliary surgery, this surgeon would join a multi-disciplinary cancer team with a large established patient population base to serve. Fellowship training in Surgical Oncology and/or HPB Surgery required. Candidate can expect the ability to participate in research studies and work with our general surgery residents.
