AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology - Central Florida, formerly Radiology Specialists of Florida, is seeking full-time ABR fellowship trained neuroradiologists to join its expanding practice of 142 radiologists. CAQ in Neuroradiology or CAQ eligible required. We perform approximately 2 million exams per year via a large referral base of more than 3000 medical staff.  Our mission is to consistently provide the highest quality patient centered diagnostic and interventional service to patients and referring physicians, in a cost effective and timely manner.

Candidates can live anywhere is the US (except California) and work remotely if needed. The ability to work on site in Central Florida is also available and preferable.

This position will work one week on, one week off from 3pm to 11pm.

Candidate should expect:

  • Read 100% Neuroradiology including CT, MR, XR, and US
  • NO overnight responsibility with subspecialized internal overnight coverage
  • Advanced imaging knowledge is desired including CT Perfusion for stroke and MR Perfusion for brain tumors
  • 1 PACS system (AGFA PACS and PowerScribe systems)
  • High end Neuroradiology practice with a large volume of neuro oncology, epilepsy, head and neck oncology, and stroke imaging
  • Residency program with 4 residents per year
  • Extremely competitive base compensation

Surgery, Colon and Rectal
Orlando, FL

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Surgery, Colon and Rectal

AdventHealth Colorectal Surgery is looking for a colorectal surgeon interested in a 12-24 month junior faculty position. This position would ideally suit a board eligible/certified colorectal surgeon seeking to advance skills in complex and reoperative abdominal and pelvic surgery, with a focus on recurrent cancer, pelvic exenteration, complex IBD and intestinal failure. The post would be ideally suited for a surgeon finishing a colorectal fellowship wishing to gain specific skills in complex surgical problems.

Responsibilities include seeing patients in our clinic and performing anorectal and abdominal cases at independent attending level, participation in complex reoperative procedures and sharing in the call schedule. In addition to clinical duties, the incumbent will teach medical students, residents and fellows. Responsibilities include participation in the academic and research missions of AdventHealth.

The incumbent will be part of the largest colorectal surgery group in Florida, working with 13 colorectal surgeons and 10 specialized Advanced Practice Providers. This is the only NAPRC accredited group in Central Florida and has an international reputation in MIS and trans-anal technology. This opportunity would be based at AdventHealth Orlando, a large 1,364 bed tertiary facility located just north of downtown Orlando.

Note: Requirements for this position include completion of an ACGME approved fellowship for Colon and Rectal Surgery and board certification through the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.

Location: Deland, FL - Specialty: Surgery, General

AdventHealth Medical Group and AdventHealth DeLand (formerly known as Florida Hospital DeLand) are looking for a dynamic and energetic, BE/BC general surgeon to join an established practice of three surgeons. This position is based in DeLand, Florida, about 40 minutes north of downtown Orlando.  This employment opportunity is for a physician who has a passion for clinical excellence and be willing to build a patient base within the local community. Physician should have a desire to practice general “bread and butter” surgery with access to multiple specialties within the area. No trauma. AdventHealth Orlando, Florida is looking for a dynamic and energetic thoracic transplant surgeon with experience post fellowship to join our busy cardiothoracic, heart and lung transplant program.  The surgeon will work with our currently experienced and established cardiology and pulmonology transplant medical/care team to help continue to grow a high quality and highly sustainable heart and lung transplant program.  We have a full comprehensive Transplant Institute that includes both thoracic and abdominal transplant teams.  Our team performs over 50 hearts, 20 lungs, and 30-50 VAD’s per year with multi organ transplant capability.   

The AdventHealth Transplant Institute is located at AdventHealth Orlando, Florida just outside downtown Orlando close to the charming Winter Park community.  AdventHealth Orlando just opened (in September 2020) a state of-the-art 32 bed critical care unit dedicated to the cardio thoracic transplant service.  AdventHealth has a hospital-based organ procurement organization (our legacy is a top performing OPO in the United States).

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for dynamic and hard-working urologists to join our team in Central Florida.  The new physicians would join our outstanding urologists and help to grow our outpatient presence in new markets in the area.  Responsibilities also include inpatient call coverage at the primary AdventHealth hospital location in rotation with practice partners.  A shared call model with other urologists in town make weekend call less frequent.  Robotic surgery is also available within our system.
