Location: Winter Park, FL - Specialty: Psychiatry, General

AdventHealth Medical Group is searching for an experienced, dynamic Psychiatrist to join our team of multidisciplinary behavioral health specialists in a well-established practice located in the Orlando area. Candidate must have a passion to work with adults (and children & adolescents as the need arises) as part of a psychiatric integrated team model.  A set clinic schedule (office hours Monday through Friday), competitive salary/benefits and a collegial cross-coverage team are just some of the attractive aspects of this opportunity. Inpatient Psychiatry coverage and ER call is provided by a community based group, but periodic call coverage may be required from time to time.

Physician would have support of the AdventHealth Neuroscience Institute Center of Excellence. The Neuroscience Institute strives to be at the forefront of neurological medicine and is committed to excellence in treatment, education, research and care of patients with neurological and spinal illness and injury.

Requirements:  Board certified in Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.  Additional training in child and adolescent psychiatry as well as geriatric psychiatry is a plus.

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care

AdventHealth Orlando, formerly Florida Hospital, is establishing an Advanced Lung Disease Institute and is looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to help develop our subspecialty programs.   The new medical director would have the ability to focus clinically on his/her area of expertise (ILD, lung transplant, COPD, CF, PH or CTEPH) while shaping various facets of the program. 

Responsibilities would include the following: leading the clinical quality for ALD care including quality metrics and quality assurance teams; active participation in regional, national, and international ALD meetings and conferences; education of residents and staff; community outreach; and program development.  The medical director would also be involved with building a core team of physicians working to improve the breadth and intensity of ALD services within our system of nine Central Florida hospital locations and eventually within our statewide hospitals.  Long term, we are also looking for leadership development for fellowship programs in Pulmonary and ALD. 

We are making major investments in our lung and heart failure programs, with 16 lung transplants completed in 2018, along with the highest thoracic transplant rates and the shortest wait times in the country.  We also performed 55 heart transplants and 68 VAD’s in 2018 with over 125 ECMO deployments.  Our program goals are to reach 80-100 lung transplants per year and approximately 200+ durable heart replacements.   We also have an active CTEPH program and pulmonary thrombo endartectomy program with approximately 8 performed in 2018. 

Overall dedicated time to the administrative portion of this role will fall between 20-40% depending on the needs of the program. 

Requirements for ALD Medical Director:

  • Fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
  • Board certification through ABMS or AOA in Pulmonology
  • Ideal candidate would have at least five years of experience post fellowship and demonstrated experience in a leadership role within an associated ALD program
  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical research

AdventHealth, formerly Florida Hospital, Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic and team-oriented physician to join our group within the North Florida Division AdventHealth Medical Group Radiation Oncology at Central Florida, formerly Radiation Oncology Specialists, which encompasses 17 radiation oncologists over 12 different locations across the state.  The new physician would provide radiation services among several of the Florida Hospital sites and serve the following locations throughout Volusia and Flagler Counties:
