AdventHealth for Women in Orlando, Florida and Loch Haven OB/GYN are looking for a dynamic and experienced, board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physician to immediately join a team in launching the expansion of this nationally-recognized practice which operates on a high acuity case mix with a focus on high risk pregnancies and minimally invasive surgery. Loch Haven OB/GYN is an extremely dynamic practice. We care for both low- and high-risk pregnancies, patients requiring advanced minimally invasive surgery. This employed group is looking for a dedicated physician with a strong work ethic to join the team. Our team has a strong focus on providing safe, efficient, cost-effective care to patients in an environment of mutual respect and collaboration. Loch Haven was the first Ob/Gyn practice in the United States to receive formal certification from the ACOG “SCOPE” office safety program! Our physicians and midwives commonly receive extremely high patient satisfaction survey scores.
The physician will take call with the other physicians and have the opportunity to provide personable, state-of-the-art obstetric care, including routine pregnancy, high risk conditions, cesarean delivery, and cesarean hysterectomy. Our team also sees many interesting gynecologic patients and has a busy surgical practice. In contrast to national statistics, approximately 90% of hysterectomies performed by our team are done vaginally or laparoscopically. If desired, our physicians may serve as faculty for a minimally invasive gynecologic surgery fellowship. Although not a requirement for employment, our team has access to the Da Vinci robot if desired. We have published in prestigious journals and serve as journal reviewers. There is the opportunity for research and research mentoring if desired. We often have medical students rotating through our private practice and teach resident physicians in the hospital. AdventHealth is looking for a dynamic and experienced physician leader for the role of Executive Medical Director at AdventHealth for Women. The Executive Medical Director will provide strong leadership to a developing, comprehensive list of women’s service lines and a robust physician panel. This role also grows and leads a rising Women’s Continuum of Care network on behalf of AdventHealth. This physician leader excels at collaborating with physicians, hospital clinicians, and administration. The majority of time in this opportunity is administrative, but there is a clinical component as well for physician to maintain their skills and participate in patient care (20%).
The Executive Medical Director is accountable for clinical oversight, development, and performance of AdventHealth for Women’s programs across the system. This practice will consist of four Ob GYNs and two advanced practice providers/nurse midwives. This practice serves the needs of the North Orlando community and is located in the heart of Seminole County. Utilizing mid wives and specializing in personalized service to patients is part of the practice’s culture. Located onsite at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, this practice performs a high volume of deliveries and surgeries. Physician should be proficient in performing minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery. Robotic subspecialty interest could be incorporated depending on the physician’s background and training. This office is well equipped and staffed for in-office procedures, and current support staff includes MA's and front office personnel. All deliveries and surgeries are performed at the beautiful AdventHealth Celebration . The practice recently moved into the newly built Women’s Institute on the hospital campus. Ideal candidate will be able to help build new patient volume in an expanding market. New physician will also have ability to perform minimally invasive surgical laparoscopic and robotic procedures or work to become proficient and certified in robotics through our Nicholson Center. Additional support resources include 24 hour laborist coverage and dedicated MFM physicians for consultation.

AdventHealth is looking for a dynamic and experienced, board-certified OB GYN physician to serve as Program Director of our new Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at AdventHealth Orlando to start in 2022. The Program Director will have a strong passion for teaching and will develop a state-of-the art program based at AdventHealth for Women. The OB GYN residency will be comprised of a total of four residents per year. The new program director would have the responsibility to develop and lead the program in compliance with ACGME guidelines. Candidate should be interested in and experienced with creating a residency program to enhance program visibility as well as increase the number of accepted residents each year. Duties would be split between dedicated administrative time, teaching residents/medical students, patient care and surgery. A minimum of five years' experience in Graduate Medical Education as an Associate Program Director or Program Director is required for consideration.

AdventHealth, formerly Florida Hospital, is seeking a dynamic Palliative Medicine physician to join our team within our system. Our leadership has committed to redefine and expand the program with a new initiative to target the entire hospital division. Palliative care is represented at five of these institutions with a plan to increase care and expand to all campuses. The current opportunity is at the Orlando campus, AdventHealth Orlando which has a need to assist oncology and cardiology (ECMO, LVAD) in best treatment of their patients. The position will help guide inpatient consultation services of the interdisciplinary team of advanced practitioners, chaplain, pharmacist and social workers. The program has a two person AAHPM fellowship so teaching, mentorship and scholarly work is valued. Clinical care expectations include goals of care, family meetings and complex symptom management in the inpatient setting. The program strives to foster a growth mindset and appreciates its wide diversity of providers backgrounds including psychiatry, family medicine, critical care and internal medicine.
