This well-established ACGME Accredited Family Medicine Residency with Osteopathic Recognition is based at AdventHealth East Orlando that is part of one of the largest healthcare systems in the country. The Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency at AdventHealth East Orlando, which has been training residents for over 30 years, is among the most progressive training programs in the osteopathic profession. The foundation for our family medicine residency is derived from the dedication of our faculty, continuity family medicine and pediatric clinics, didactic programs, and innovative technology. We teach twenty-four residents each academic year, ONMM3 residents, and osteopathic medical students. We are a core site for third year students from the Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University.

AdventHealth East Orlando, a 293-bed full-service community hospital became part of the Adventist Health System in 1991. We are proud to serve approximately 180,000 patients annually, which include more than 16,700 inpatients and 79,330 outpatients at AdventHealth East Orlando.

The ideal candidate would have experience in academic medicine, demonstrate leadership capabilities, strong communication skills, and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth, formerly Florida Hospital. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not necessary.

Be part of a ground floor growth opportunity!  Established in 2021, AdventHealth Well 65+ consists of 4 community practice sites throughout central Florida in the Orlando and Daytona Beach areas. AdventHealth of the Greater Daytona Beach area located in beautiful Northeast Florida, is looking for a dynamic Gastroenterologist Hospitalists to be part of our inpatient Gastroenterology Team. This employment opportunity is for a Gastroenterologist with a primary interest in a hospital setting. Physician would have responsibility at AdventHealth Deland to cover inpatient GI consults from the floor and emergency department. Candidate would also perform procedures in the hospital setting and should practice all aspects of Gastroenterology. Candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a desire to build and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians.  Our gastroenterology network is aligned with our Digestive Health Institute providing multidisciplinary care to patients across the spectrum of digestive disease. Active Florida license is a plus.

The practice is a part of AdventHealth Medical Group.  This is an employment opportunity that includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation. AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for dynamic and energetic Gastroenterologists to serve the needs of Volusia and West Volusia counties, north of Orlando through the Atlantic coastal line of Florida.  Opportunities exist within the following locations:  Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach, DeLand and Fish Memorial.   AHMG Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking partners with the desire to build a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians. Strong referral base and access to supporting specialists would allow physicians to quickly build a robust patient base and provide a continuum of care. Our gastroenterology network is aligned with our Digestive Health Institute providing multidisciplinary care to patients across the spectrum of digestive disease.

AdventHealth is seeking an IBD physician to join our growing team in beautiful Orlando, Florida.  The IBD physician will be joining an established group of six gastroenterologists with APP support, along with a second IBD focused physician.  This is a relatively new program in coordination with our Digestive Health and Surgery Institute.  This is mostly a clinically focused role, but it does include dedicated administrative/research hours.   Practice is staffed with medical assistants, scribes and program support staff of a social worker and RN Navigators. 

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Gastroenterology though ABMS or AOA
  • Fellowship training in Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Candidate can expect:

  • 90% clinical facing time
  • 10% Administrative time

Advanced Practice Provider AHMG General Opportunity.

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Geneticist

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic medical geneticist to join our team at AdventHealth Medical Genetics & Genomics program in Orlando, Florida.  You would join our two other physicians and genetic counselors and continue to grow our dynamic program.  The new physician would collaborate within our multidisciplinary teams of experienced clinicians in pediatric cardiology, gastroenterology, general pediatrics, hematology/oncology, MFM, neurology and transplantation surgery. We aspire to provide comprehensive state of the art genetic and genomic services to all patients within the AdventHealth system (locally, regionally and nationally).

The new physician would have the ability to work in both an outpatient and inpatient setting along with fulfilling personal research and teaching interests. Requirements include board eligibility or board certification in Clinical Genetics through the American Board of Medical Genetics & Genomics.

Our physicians are working directly with our state-of-the-art neonatology and pediatric liver transplant programs to develop a metabolic disorders program at AdventHealth for Children that will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for infants, children, and adolescents with various metabolic diseases. Together with the pediatric liver transplantation program, we offer liver transplantation for children with urea cycle disorders, MSUD, MMA & PA.
