AdventHealth Medical Group Seeking Day and Night Hospitalist Physicians

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for dynamic physicians to join our growing team of hospitalists. This employment opportunity is a 7 on 7 off position responsible for roughly 182 shifts per year. We have (2) teams of (9) physicians with the support of  APPs during the day for ED through put and dedicated nocturnist coverage at night also supervising an APP.  Our hospitalists work in teams rotating a 7 day on 7 day off schedule. Our shifts run from (7a-7p) and (7p-7a).  The  hospitalist team benefits from a set schedule, competitive base salary with quarterly quality bonuses, strong benefits package, and collegial cross-coverage team. We provide the opportunities to be credentialed at multiple campuses to make it easy to swap shifts and pick-up additional days to supplement your earnings.

Family Medicine, Hospitalist
Winter Park, FL

Location: Winter Park, FL - Specialty: Family Medicine, Hospitalist

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic, hardworking Family or Internal Medicine trained physician to join our hospitalist team in beautiful Winter Park, Florida.  Physician will join an existing employed inpatient practice and will work as a hospitalist at AdventHealth Winter Park hospital.  

Physician duties will include independent rounding on a 7 on/ 7 off schedule.  No night shifts or call required. A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. Ideal candidate would have experience in hospitalist medicine, strong communication skills, and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth.  AdventHealth Winter Park does have a closed Intensive Care Unit.   

Nestled among oak trees draped in Spanish moss and picturesque neighborhoods of Winter Park, Florida, the hospital has been serving the health and wellness needs of the community for well over half a century. A multitude of healthcare specialties are offered at WPMH from obstetrics, orthopedics, endoscopy, robotic surgery, respiratory therapy and so much more.

AdventHealth Medical Group - Central Florida Division North - Hospitalist

This group is mainly comprised  of physicians with healthy support from advanced practice providers. AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for dynamic and energetic Gastroenterologists to serve the needs of Central Florida.   AHMG Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking partners with the desire to build a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians. 

Ideal candidate should expect:

  • Daily work schedule of outpatient and inpatient care
  • Desire to handle a very high-volume case load
  • Practice all aspects of general Gastroenterology
  • Busy ED call at one hospital
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills

A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. The new physician should have the desire to join a busy practice and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth.  ERCP preferred, but not required.

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Gastroenterology

AdventHealth is seeking an IBD physician to join our growing team in beautiful Orlando, Florida.  The IBD physician will be joining an established group of six gastroenterologists with APP support, along with a second IBD focused physician.  This is a relatively new program in coordination with our Digestive Health and Surgery Institute.  This is mostly a clinically focused role, but it does include dedicated administrative/research hours.   Practice is staffed with medical assistants, scribes and program support staff of a social worker and RN Navigators. 

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Gastroenterology though ABMS or AOA
  • Fellowship training in Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Candidate can expect:

  • 90% clinical facing time
  • 10% Administrative time

Lake Gastroenterology Associates is looking for a dynamic and energetic Gastroenterologist to serve the needs of beautiful Lake County in Central Florida.  This candidate would join two other physicians in a well-established practice.

Advanced Practice Provider AHMG General Opportunity.

Location: Winter Park, FL - Specialty: Gynecology

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic, fellowship trained GYN surgeon to join a busy, established Central Florida practice in beautiful Winter Park, Florida. Candidate will be clinically focused and must actively practice all aspects of Gynecological Surgery. A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. Responsibilities will include call coverage at AdventHealth Winter Park. Three years experience is preferred, but not required. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

AdventHealth Medical Group and AdventHealth DeLand (formerly known as Florida Hospital DeLand) are looking for a dynamic and energetic, BE/BC Gynecologist to start a new practice to serve the patients of a charming community housing Stetson University, a new master planned community and a downtown lined with boutiques and outdoor cafes. This position is based in DeLand, Florida, about 40 minutes north of downtown Orlando.  This employment opportunity is for a physician who has a passion for clinical excellence and be willing to build a patient base within the local community. Physician should have a desire to practice general gynecology and perform  surgery at one hospital with access to multiple specialties within the area.

Practice Overview

The practice is a part of AdventHealth Medical Group.  This is an employment opportunity that includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation with a productivity model. Other benefits include occurrence-based malpractice coverage, paid leave days, CME days and allowance, 403b retirement plan, health insurance for physician and family, and relocation allowance.  AHMG is a sister organization of AdventHealth which employs 350+ physicians in 27 individual service lines. Location: Kissimmee, FL - Specialty: Hematology / Oncology

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a fellowship trained hematologist oncologist to join a busy four-physician practice with offices at AdventHealth Kissimmee and AdventHealth Celebration, just south of downtown Orlando and near the attractions. The ideal candidate will have an interest in Breast Oncology and will also continue to manage general hematology/oncology patients. We are in the process of establishing a breast multidisciplinary clinic at AdventHealth Kissimmee and the new physician will have an active role in this program. Rotation of call would include both inpatient and outpatient in equal share with the other physicians. This is a new position to accommodate the growth of the practice and community.

The new physician would be part of our AdventHealth Cancer Institute with resources to participate in clinical trials and daily tumor boards. Infusion and radiation oncology are (or will be) present at both Kissimmee and Celebration locations.
