Overview
AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Newborn Hospitalist to join our growing team at AdventHealth Celebration. This position offers an exceptional work-life balance with a 7-on/7-off schedule, providing weekday coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM during service weeks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for newborn medicine, family-centered care, and collaboration within a highly respected pediatric network.
Practice Overview
The Newborn Hospitalist will provide care for well newborns at AdventHealth Celebration and be assigned as a member of the neonatal team which includes neonatologist and neonatal practitioners. Work closely with obstetric, community pedestrians, and newborn nursing teams to ensure high-quality care throughout the newborn hospitalization.
Responsibilities Include:
- Newborn admissions, daily rounds, and discharge management
- Comprehensive well newborn care and family education
- Newborn stabilization and coordination of transfers to higher levels of care when indicated
- Collaboration with community pediatricians, nursing staff, and neonatal specialists
- Participation in quality and patient safety initiatives

Candidate Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure
- Interest or experience in newborn medicine, newborn nursery care, or pediatric hospital medicine
- Commitment to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
