AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic, energetic, and team-oriented fellowship trained hematologist oncologist to join AdventHealth Medical Group in Lake Nona, Florida. The practice is looking for this physician to start in late Summer 2026. This position would manage a variety of Hematologic and Oncologic conditions with a focus on Breast Oncology. 

  • Rotation of call would be shared with the other physicians in the practice, including weekends

Position Highlights

  • Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team including pediatricians, psychologists, social workers, and subspecialists

AdventHealth Medica Group and AdventHealth for Children are seeking a dynamic, fellowship-trained pediatric interventional cardiologist to join our multi-disciplinary pediatric and adult congenital cardiology team. The cardiologist would work in an exciting and thriving program with the full AdventHealth healthcare system support (50+ hospitals across nine states including 30 in Florida). The physician would have the benefit of cross coverage for call and work with a comprehensive team including surgeons, cardiologists, coordinators, dieticians, pharmacists, therapists and social workers. 

  • Access to dedicated pediatric cardiac catheterization Laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment within our tertiary Childrens Hospital 
  • Team of 12 cardiologists including general, advanced imaging, electrophysiology, interventional, Advanced Heart Failure and ACHD 
  • Dedicated cardiac Cath lab coordinator (APP). 
  • Pediatric Cardiac ICU with full ECMO support availability 
  • Active pediatric Liver and Kidney transplant program

AdventHealth for Children is located just outside downtown Orlando close to the charming Winter Park community.

Requirements of the position include: 

  • Middle to Advanced level cardiac interventionalist with capability of performing complex diagnostic and interventional procedures that encompass all types of stenting, device closure of all types of defects 
  • Expertise in neonatal interventions including hybrid procedures, PDA and atrial septal stenting 
  • Expertise in ACHD cardiac catheterization and interventions 
  • Experience of being involved in clinical trials is preferred but not essential 
  • Fellowship training in Pediatric Interventional Cardiology 
  • BE/BC is required in Pediatric Cardiology with a certificate of interventional training

The Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is looking for an experienced Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to help lead the division of pediatric cardiac intensive care at AdventHealth for Children.

Responsibilities of the new physician will include furthering the growth of the Cardiac ICU program aligned with our growing surgical program, mentorship of the CICU Physicians, developing quality improvement processes, standardizing care, and engaging stakeholders both within the hospital as well as the community. Clinical time will be exclusively in our CICU and account for 80% of time commitment with 20% set aside for leadership activity. The new leader would work with our Medical Director of Pediatric and Adult Congenital Heart Surgery and work collaboratively with our dedicated peds cardiology team (seven physicians).

The Cardiac ICU at Adventhealth is a 15 bed state of the art unit. It provides care for post surgical patients with a predicted case volume for the current year of 250. In addition, there is robust interventional cardiology and electrophysiology cases requiring critical care services.

Adventhealth also has a 22 bed pediatric ICU that maintains its own leadership structure and physician staff. Academics include a pediatric residency program (launched in 2013) with twelve residents per year and clinical research opportunities.

AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking an experienced Pediatric Critical Care Physician to serve as Medical Director of Pediatric Critical Care at our flagship children’s hospital in Orlando, Florida with additional oversight of PICU at AdventHealth Tampa.

This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to guide a high-performing pediatric intensive care program within a nationally recognized, faith-based health system dedicated to whole-person care.

Position Highlights

  • Provide clinical and administrative leadership for a 22 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) plus additional 4 bed Pediatric Care Unit (PCU) with active expansion plans and oversight of separate 5-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at AdventHealth Tampa
