AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology - Central Florida is seeking a full-time fellowship trained musculoskeletal radiologist to join its expanding practice of 150 radiologists.  We perform approximately 2 million exams per year via a large referral base of more than 3000 medical staff. Qualified candidates will be board certified in Radiology with additional certification in Musculoskeletal Imaging.

Candidate should expect:

  • 1 PACS system (AGFA PACS and PowerScribe systems)
  • Reading musculoskeletal CT, X-ray, MRI, US and DEXA exams
  • Performing musculoskeletal procedures including arthrograms, diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasounds
  • Residency program
  • Extremely competitive base compensation and bonus opportunities

CAQ in Neuroradiology or CAQ eligible required. We perform approximately 2 million exams per year via a large referral base of more than 3000 medical staff.  Our available opportunities include day and evening rotations in which candidates would be reading 100% neuroradiological studies.

General Summary:

• Educates the health care team and physicians about psycho-social issues and identified patient/family problems as well as recommends strategies to address these issues.

• Responsible for assessment and treatment of individuals with mental, emotional, social or substance abuse problems, including abuse of alcohol, tobacco, and/or other related drugs.

• Provide short-term, structured, evidence-based psychotherapy as part of an appropriate treatment plan.

• Coordinate and collaborate with the primary care providers to improve health outcomes.

• Facilitate referrals to other services (e.g. substance abuse treatment, specialty care and community resources as needed.

• Provide clinical therapeutic services to patients, including individual and group therapy and coordination of treatment for participants with co-occurring disorders.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed.

• Maintain accurate and timely records of activities and services provided to each client.

• Provides ongoing patient/family and staff education.

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Surgery, Cardiothoracic:Advanced Aortic

AdventHealth is looking for a dynamic, experienced cardiovascular surgeon with aortic expertise to join our established team of surgeons located at AdventHealth Orlando. We have a full complement of nationally recognized core cardiac and Transplant / Assist Devices and Congenital Cardiac programs. These include coronary revascularization, a valve center of excellence, and TVT accredited structural heart programs. We are looking for this new surgeon with specialized skills to help create our Aortic Center of Excellence. Working with a multidisciplinary team including vascular surgery, cardiology, and our cardiothoracic surgeons would be essential to developing the program.

Requirements of the position:

  • At least five years of experience post training
  • Diplomate of the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Aortic vascular wire skills and familiarity with TEVAR procedures.

AdventHealth Colorectal Surgery is looking for a Complex IBD colorectal surgeon. This position would ideally suit a board eligible/certified colorectal surgeon who has advanced training in complex inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) procedures.

Responsibilities include seeing patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, performing anorectal and abdominal cases, participating in resident and colorectal fellow education, and facilitating clinical research. We are specifically seeking a surgeon who has experience in both primary and redo ileal pouch surgery.

The incumbent will be part of the largest colorectal surgery group in Florida, working with 13 colorectal surgeons and 10 specialized Advanced Practice Providers. This is the only NAPRC accredited group in Central Florida and has an international reputation in MIS and trans-anal technology. This opportunity would be based at AdventHealth Orlando, a large 1,364 bed tertiary facility located just north of downtown Orlando.

Note: Requirements for this position include: 1. Completion of an ACGME approved fellowship for Colon and Rectal Surgery, 2. board certification through the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery, and 3. trained in complex IBD procedures.

AdventHealth Colorectal Surgery is looking for a colorectal surgeon interested in a 12-24 month junior faculty position. This position would ideally suit a board eligible/certified colorectal surgeon seeking to advance skills in complex and reoperative abdominal and pelvic surgery, with a focus on recurrent cancer, pelvic exenteration, complex IBD and intestinal failure. The post would be ideally suited for a surgeon finishing a colorectal fellowship wishing to gain specific skills in complex surgical problems.

Responsibilities include seeing patients in our clinic and performing anorectal and abdominal cases at independent attending level, participation in complex reoperative procedures and sharing in the call schedule. In addition to clinical duties, the incumbent will teach medical students, residents and fellows. Responsibilities include participation in the academic and research missions of AdventHealth.

Location: Altamonte Springs, FL - Specialty: Surgery, General

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic and energetic General Surgeon to join a busy, established Central Florida practice in Seminole County. Responsibilities will include call coverage at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs and supporting two Emergency Departments in Oviedo and Lake Mary. Candidate will be clinically focused and must actively practice all aspects of general surgery. A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. Three years experience is preferred, but not required. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
