General Summary:

The ARNP or PA-C, under the supervision of the Physician(s), who acts as the collaborative practitioner(s), is responsible for:

• Performs physical examinations of patients; evaluation and treatment of adult thoracic surgery patients in the clinic and hospital setting for pre and post-operative patients

• Conditions treated and post-op care include but not limited to: Robotic Surgery for the Lungs and Chest, Minimally invasive treatment for Early Stage Lung Cancer, Experienced Surgical Treatment for Advanced Lung Cancer, Multimodality treatment for Advanced Lung Cancer, Lung Cancer, Surgical intervention and therapies for Esophageal conditions

General Summary:

The APRN or PA-C, under the supervision of the Physician(s) who acts as the collaborative practitioner(s), is responsible for:

  • Performs physical examinations of patient’s evaluation and treatment of hematology and oncology patients primarily in the outpatient setting at our East Orlando Location.
  • Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc.
  • Monitors the patient’s course of treatment and makes appropriate referral to either a physician or specialist, as needed
  • Collaborates with physician supervisor and staff, as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff

Schedule Details:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday

  • Call required – This position will mainly be in the practice, however, will be cross trained inpatient as inpatient coverage needs may come up during the week; participate in weekend 1 in 4 weeks, or so (depending on total APPs may be 1 in 5 or 1 in 6.)

AHMG Pediatric Cardiology is seeking an APRN to join the practice. The role involves direct care for cardiac disorders in infants, children, and teenagers. The APP would work in outpatient and inpatient settings. The position involves collaboration between pediatric cardiology teams, neonatal ICU, pediatric ICU, and inpatient cardiology.

General Summary:

General Summary: The APP, under the supervision of the Physicians is responsible for:

  • Performs patient histories and physical exams in the office and hospital setting
  • Orders appropriate laboratory and radiographic tests
  • Exhibits autonomy in the operating room when required.
  • Assists with management of laboratory results and medication needs for inpatients and outpatients.
  • Performs laparoscopic and robotic first assistant duties including closure of incision sites.
  • Meets the specific needs of the attending surgeon, often assisting several surgeons in a single practice.
  • APP would see patients in the clinic, including new patients, post-op, routine follow-up, assist with surgery and after hours call for patient medical issues.
  • Assists with recognizing and managing acute and chronic complications of surgery.

General Summary:

The ideal candidate would serve as an integral role in the global management of breast surgery patients, including all aspects of Peri-operative care from performing patient histories and daily rounds to invasive surgical procedures.

The APP, under the supervision of the Physicians is responsible for:

  • Performs patient histories and physical exams in the office and hospital setting
  • Exhibits autonomy in the operating room when required
  • Performs first assistant duties.
  • Meets the specific needs of the attending surgeon, often assisting several surgeons in a single practice
  • Has exacting knowledge of each surgeon's idiosyncrasies to expedite the procedure and limit patient morbidity and mortality
  • Uses knowledge of medical model to promote synergistic relationship between physician and PA
  • Post-op- Writes orders in the recovery room, talks with family, visits patients performs post op procedures and more
  • Discharge planning – Dictates discharge summaries, writes prescriptions, explain discharge instructions, confirms follow-up appointments and more

  • Throughout the year multiple community outreach programs are performed in order to raise awareness of screening mammography, signs and symptoms of breast cancer and high risk breast disease as well as family history of breast cancer the physician assistant will assist with these outreach programs in any way necessary.

Physician Assistant, Surgical: Cardiovascular

General Summary:

  • Under the direction and supervision of the surgeon, the Cardiovascular Surgery PA-C or APRN-RNFA will perform cardiovascular surgical preparation procedures, per-operative and post-operative procedures, and assists in performing cardiovascular surgical procedures.
  • Provide patient and family with pre-operative education, answer questions regarding surgery, recovery and risk factor modification.
  • Obtain and perform history and physical examinations.
  • Record and interpret pertinent data (labs, diagnostic studies, discharge summaries, progress notes, etc.) including writing orders and discharges.
  • First assisting in cardiovascular surgery, vein and radial artery harvesting, first assisting with CABG, valve, aortic and thoracic surgery.

AdventHealth Lake Mary is looking to add a full-time Outpatient Psychiatrist to our psychiatry program. This psychiatrist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients across the full spectrum of mental health conditions in an outpatient setting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The MD or DO, is responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans.
