Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Radiology, Nuclear

AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology - Central Florida, formerly Radiology Specialists of Florida, is seeking a full-time nuclear medicine radiologist to join its expanding practice of 125 radiologists.  We perform approximately 2 million exams per year via a large referral base of more than 3000 medical staff. Qualified candidates will be board certified in Radiology with fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine.

Candidate should expect:

  • 1 PACS system (AGFA PACS and PowerScribe systems)
  • Reading general nuclear medicine and PET/CET
  • Residency program

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Surgery, Pediatric: Cardiothoracic

AdventHealth for Children is seeking a dynamic, energetic Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon to lead our team based at the Walt Disney Pavilion (website) in Orlando, Florida.  The new Medical Director would also help to continue development of our vibrant, comprehensive pediatric open-heart program in coordination with one of the largest hospital networks in the country.  The new surgeon would join team and work collaboratively with our dedicated peds cardiology and peds cardiac ICU teams.  Our predicted case volume for the current year is 250 cases.

We have a network of 30 hospitals in the state with an extensive outreach system as well.  This includes multiple outpatient locations with a multidisciplinary presence.   We deliver approximately 24,000 babies per year throughout our system. 

Requirements of the position

  • At least 10 years post fellowship
  • Diplomate of the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
  • Subspecialty certification in Congenital Heart Surgery through the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
  • Documented success as an independent pediatric cardiac surgeon in all domains of clinical pediatric cardiac surgery including complex neonatal cardiac surgery and surgery for adults with congenital heart disease.  Significant interest and capability in pre and post-operative care.
  • Demonstrable skills in surgical judgment, management and decision-making.
  •  “Team player” mentality. 
  • Participation in multidisciplinary daily rounds.

Bosshardt & Marzek Plastic Surgery Associates is seeking a partner to join their well-established practice in beautiful Tavares, Florida (appx 45 mins north of Orlando).  The practice consists of two full-time physicians working out of a beautiful, recently renovated office on Lake Junietta and is the area’s only free-standing, multi-specialty medical building. This practice houses the only state-licensed ambulatory surgery facility in a private office and is Medicare approved.  Board eligible or board-certified candidates required.  Fellowship training in hand surgery a plus.

AdventHealth Orlando is looking for a dynamic and energetic urologic oncologist to join our team in Central Florida.  The new physician should have post-fellowship experience and a special interest in non-prostate malignancies and re-operative surgeries.   This opportunity would join our outstanding urologists and practice in our downtown Orlando campus to help grow our Urologic Oncology market in the area.  We have a collegial multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses to collaborate on a customized plan of care for each patient. 

The Orlando campus has a growing program of pelvic exenteration for advanced and recurrent malignancies in collaboration with the Center for Colon and Rectal Surgery representing an opportunity to grow a unique flagship program in cancer care. AdventHealth Cancer Institute is one of only two cancer centers in Florida to receive designation by the National Accreditation Program in Rectal Cancer.

A shared general urology call model with other urologists in the practice along with a urology hospitalist model at our tertiary facility make weekend and weekday call less frequent and extremely beneficial to work life balance.  Robotic surgery is also widely available throughout our system. AdventHealth Orlando was recently recognized in US News & World Report as the #1 hospital in the state of Florida. It is also nationally ranked for its Urology services on a perennial basis.   

There is also potential for the new physician to participate in a leadership role in conjunction with our AdventHealth Cancer Institute (AHCI).  Some protected administrative time could be available depending on the background, interest and vision of the candidate. AdventHealth is seeking an experienced, dynamic Wound Care physician to join our team in beautiful Orlando, Florida.  This opportunity would be an employed position through AdventHealth Medical Group.  Board certification required.  Florida license is preferred, but not necessary.  A motivation to increase patient safety and elevate patient satisfaction, along with dynamic communication skills and the ability to fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth, are required.   

Preferred qualifications for this opportunity:

  • Completion of an approved (UHMS) 40-hour course, Introduction to Hyperbaric Medicine; or 1-year Fellowship program in Hyperbaric Medicine.
  • Completion of HBO emergency simulation course or current competency in HBO emergencies including DCS, AGE, CO poisoning and necrotizing fasciitis.
  • Active HBO and wound care experience for a minimum of 2 years
