AdventHealth for Children Pediatric Head & Neck Surgery seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Pediatric Head & Neck Surgery team. The NP or PA assists the assigned staff attending in all aspects of patient care. This position involves practice in the clinical setting, including clinic, inpatient, ambulatory/outpatient, and pre-operative and post-operative care. Hospital rounds may be required. There is potential to participate in research and publications. No after-hours call is required, however may be instituted at a future date. The practice will involve care and management of patients requiring or consultation for a head/neck and plastic surgery-related diagnoses. Care will include performing clinic assessments, admission History and Physicals, daily plan of care, airway evaluation, ultrasound evaluation and biopsy, and other minor clinic procedures.
