AdventHealth is seeking Family Practice Physicians to join our new direct primary care service, Primary Care+. We are seeking Physicians who have a passion for caring for the whole family, have an interest in technology, enjoy working in a team-based practice, and share a desire to extend exceptional whole person care across our community.

Primary Care+ is a built on a promise of convenience, responsiveness, and exceptional care personalized to the needs of the patient. Patients enjoy the feeling like they have a doctor in the family! Patients benefit from 7 day a week access, with the practice being open 12 hours each weekday and from 8am-2pm on weekends. Patients also have access to 24/7 text messaging via the AdventHealth app, access to nutritional and mental health counseling and concierge services. We also offer virtual visits, which providers cover while on shift, and are supported by another team that is available 24/7.

Our physicians work a three-week rotating schedule that includes roughly 16 shifts/month. One weekend in this rotation includes two six-hour shifts. There is no additional call schedule.

The opportunity includes competitive compensation, productivity-based incentives, malpractice coverage, paid days off in addition to 6 major paid holidays, CME allowance, health, life and disability insurance for the physician, contributions to a 403b retirement plan, sign-on bonus and relocation allowance.

AdventHealth Medical Group is searching for several dynamic and hard-working Family and Internal Medicine physicians to join our faith-based organization in various practice locations throughout Volusia county, Florida. Based north of Orlando in quaint hometown communities to the coastal beachside areas of the Atlantic Ocean, there are several practices looking to add physicians to meet the growing demands of the community. Experienced candidate could even start a practice if interested. 

Ideal candidate would be mission aligned, patient focused and be willing to see a strong volume of patients in a typical shift. Physician should have the ability to continue to build a patient base through marketing efforts with onsite marketing resources. Candidate should have a focus on offering increased quality, increased patient satisfaction, and delivery of whole person care.

Ideal candidate will have:

•    Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
•    Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (or Board Eligibility within 3 years of completing a US based residency       program)
•    Strong interest in developing a practice
•    Ability to meet with referring physicians and market to the local community

AdventHealth Medical Group – Family Medicine at Lake Nona is looking for a dynamic and energetic Primary Care physician (MD or DO) to join an established practice in beautiful Orange County, Florida. This busy practice consists of four other physicians and one APRN.

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (or Board Eligibility within 3 years of completing a US based residency program)
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred

  • Experience overseeing advanced practice providers (APRN’s and PA’s)

AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine at Mount Dora is looking for a dynamic and energetic Primary Care physician (MD or DO) to join an established practice in beautiful Lake County, Florida (about 45 minutes north of Downtown Orlando). This provider will have both clinical time as well as administrative time to help grow our primary care presence in Lake County.

The ideal candidate will be/have:

Practice Responsibilities:

  • Actively pursue methods of improving patient services at the practice
  • Help to develop and implement strategic plans for the practice
  • Comfortable seeing patients of all ages, with majority of the patients being adult and geriatric
  • Willingness to analyze practice finance

Lake County Responsibilities:

  • Active interest in network development and connecting our network and strategy through primary care locations in the area

This is an established, outpatient practice with no ER call or inpatient rounding required.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic and energetic Gastroenterologist to serve the needs of South Orlando.  Located at AdventHealth Celebration Hospital, AHMG Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking a third partner with the desire to build a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians. 

Ideal candidate should expect:

  • Daily work schedule of outpatient and inpatient care
  • Desire to handle a very high-volume case load
  • Practice all aspects of general Gastroenterology
  • Willingness to build and grow their practice
  • Busy ED call at one hospital
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills

A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. The new physician should have the desire to join a busy practice and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth.
