AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic physician to join our growing Critical Care team!   

Our Critical Care team is ultimately comprised of 10 physicians and 12 advanced practice providers. 

Our team provides advanced care to critically ill patients in the 32-bed closed Med/Surg ICU &  14-bed CVICU at AdventHealth Daytona Beach; the 18-bed closed Med/Surg ICU of our AdventHealth Palm Coast; and the 10-bed closed Med/Surg ICU of our new state-of-the-art hospital, AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway.

The position requires a minimum of 182 shifts per year with a 7 on-7 off schedule.  Set schedule of (7am-7pm) or (7pm-7am) and a 1 in 5 rotation for night coverage.

AdventHealth Medical Group Critical Care at Central Florida is looking for a dynamic physician to be a part of our expanding critical care team. This position would be focused as part of a multi-disciplinary team, in our Cardiovascular ICU at our AdventHealth Orlando campus. Physicians will have responsibility to cover in the new, state of the art, 32 bed CVICU with our team of intensivists and advanced practice providers. The patient mix includes heart and lung transplants, mechanical assist devices, VV/VA ECMO and general cardiac and thoracic surgery. Full Time schedule would consist of 14 shifts per month that would include a rotation of nights.

The ideal candidate would have experience or be comfortable working in Medical and Surgical ICU settings. The practice would be affiliated to AHMG Critical Care Specialists of Central Florida, a 100 plus employed provider intensive care team, which reaches over 10 other AdventHealth campuses throughout Central and North Florida, caring for over 18000 critically patients a year.

Location: Orlando, Florida – AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!

AdventHealth Orlando is looking for a dynamic and energetic physician to join our Medical & Cardiac ICU Team at AdventHealth Orlando, 1400 bed hospital.

  • This position would also include academic responsibilities that would align with our Internal Medicine Residency and Critical Care Fellowship program.
  • AdventHealth Orlando is our quaternary center with the highest acuity, transplant and sub specialty dedicated ICUs.
  • Total ICU beds across the different units is approximately 170.
  • The physician will work with our experienced and established intensivists and multidisciplinary team to provide high quality care to patients within the Medical ICU.

Responsibilities would include the following: assisting with the clinical quality for the Medical ICU care, including quality metrics and quality assurance teams; active participation in regional, national, and international meetings and conferences; education of APP’S, medical critical care fellows and new staff; community outreach; and program development.

The primary location for this position will be located at AdventHealth Orlando, just outside downtown Orlando close to the charming Winter Park community. AdventHealth has a hospital based organ procurement organization (Our Legacy is a top performing OPO in the USA).

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Executive Medicine

AdventHealth Orlando and AdventHealth Transplant Institute (AHTI) are seeking a dynamic physician leader to serve as the Executive Medical Director for the AHTI.  This role will ensure the aims of exceptional patient care delivery, a culture of collaboration and collegiality, and growth through various organs serviced through the AHTI.  This role would also provide support and leadership for both physician and administrative leaders within the program and serve as the physician lead and representative for the Institute and in partnership with a dedicated administrative Vice President. 

The primary functions of the Executive Medical Director include the following services:

  • Conduct and carry out administrative and professional services – jointly in a dyadic partnership with the VP, AHTI and advise hospital on all clinical, operational, and professional matters relating to the role and function of this position.
  • This position is accountable for the development and performance of both the abdominal and thoracic clinical programs for the program. This may include but is not limited to clinical care, operational clinic workflow, budgetary, profitability of services, satellite development, training, collaboration with other physician leaders in the Program, and patient/customer experience.
  • This position, along with other clinical and strategic stakeholders, is responsible for the vision and strategic development for AHTI across the local, state, and regional enterprise.
