General Summary:

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Critical Care

AdventHealth Medical Group Critical Care at Central Florida is looking for a dynamic physician to be a part of our expanding critical care team.  This position would be focused as part of a multi-disciplinary team, in our Cardiovascular ICU at our AdventHealth Orlando campus.  Physicians will have responsibility to cover in the new, state of the art, 32 bed CVICU with our team of intensivists and advanced practice providers. The patient mix includes heart and lung transplants, mechanical assist devices, VV/VA ECMO and general cardiac and thoracic surgery.

We have an amazing leadership opportunity at one of our established and growing campuses, AdventHealth Heart of Florida.  This is an ideal position for someone looking to lead and continue to develop a program within a thriving hospital system.  Will be responsible for establishing protocols in line with evidence-based medicine, standardized care models, staffing, scheduling, education/training will full clinical responsibilities in the unit.  AH Heart of Florida is well known to the community, with an established reputation while continuing to enhance and expand its medical and surgical services.  It is also an area that has been recognized as one the fastest growing counties in the state of Florida.

This employment opportunity is for critical care fellowship trained physicians with an interest in a hospital only setting covering Medical ICU and Surgical ICU. Ideal candidates will have at least two years’ experience in Critical Care Medicine.  14 shifts per month will provide full time benefits. Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
Winter Park, FL

The AdventHealth Diabetes Institute is seeking a dynamic and energetic, clinically-focused endocrinologist to join our team in Winter Park, Florida. New physician will join existing practice of one physician and two advanced practice providers with a focus on general endocrinology and diabetes. This opportunity is almost entirely outpatient.  The mission of the AdventHealth Diabetes Institute is to improve the lives of people with diabetes, promote a healthy lifestyle, deliver excellence in clinical care and education, and conduct research leading to diabetes prevention and a cure.  The new physician would be part of our larger team over 20 endocrine providers covering multiple locations around the Central Florida area.

The AdventHealth Diabetes Institute is a full-service, integrated practice, providing endocrinology and diabetes care, as well as comprehensive diabetes and nutrition education services. The AHDI is a nationally recognized program including consistent recognition in Endocrinology by U.S. News and World Report. We serve as a teaching site for internal medicine residents and medical students.  We also participate in clinical research in the areas of diabetes, obesity and metabolism in partnership with our Translational Research Institute for Metabolism and Diabetes.

The AdventHealth Diabetes Institute serves the greater Orlando area across the AdventHealth Central Florida Division. The main office is situated in over 20,000 sq ft of beautiful office space on the campus of AdventHealth Orlando, a 1,364 bed tertiary referral hospital.  Candidates must be committed to delivering transformational clinical care within the outpatient and inpatient settings.  In addition, there may be opportunities to participate in teaching and clinical research for qualified and interested candidates.

Requirements:  Physician must be fellowship trained and have active board certification through the American Board of Internal Medicine with board certification or board eligibility (within five years of completion of training) in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
 

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Family Medicine, Academic

AdventHealth Graduate Medical Education in Orlando, Florida is looking for a dynamic, hardworking, and broadly skilled Family Medicine physician with a passion for teaching. This doctor would serve as one of the key faculty members in an academic role within the Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency Program. He or she would focus on outpatient medicine while teaching our residents and medical students. The physician's duties will include his or her own personal family medicine clinic, precepting residents and medical students, giving didactic lectures, constructing curricula and evaluating residents and medical students. There is an opportunity to incorporate OMM into both clinical care and teaching. There is also an opportunity to become the Associate Program Director and/or the Osteopathic Recognition Director.

The ideal candidate would have experience in academic medicine, demonstrate leadership capabilities, strong communication skills, and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth, formerly Florida Hospital. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not necessary.

This well-established ACGME Accredited Family Medicine Residency with Osteopathic Recognition is based at AdventHealth East Orlando, a 293 bed facility that is part of one of the largest healthcare systems in the country. The Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency at AdventHealth East Orlando, which has been training residents for over 30 years, is among the most progressive training programs in the osteopathic profession. The foundation for our family medicine residency is derived from the dedication of our faculty, continuity family medicine and pediatric clinics, didactic programs and innovative technology. We teach twenty four residents each academic year, ONMM3 residents, and osteopathic medical students. We are a core site for third year students from the Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University.

Board Certification in Family Medicine (AOBFP or ABFM) and in NMM (AOBNMM) is required.
