AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology - Central Florida, formerly Radiology Specialists of Florida, is seeking a full-time fellowship trained musculoskeletal radiologist to join its expanding practice of 142 radiologists.  We perform approximately 2 million exams per year via a large referral base of more than 3000 medical staff. Qualified candidates will be board certified in Radiology with additional certification in Musculoskeletal Imaging.

Candidate should expect:

  • 1 PACS system (AGFA PACS and PowerScribe systems)
  • Reading musculoskeletal CT, X-ray, MRI, US and DEXA exams
  • Performing musculoskeletal procedures including arthrograms, diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasounds
  • Residency program

AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology - Central Florida, formerly Radiology Specialists of Florida, is seeking full-time ABR fellowship trained neuroradiologists to join its expanding practice of 142 radiologists. CAQ in Neuroradiology or CAQ eligible required. We perform approximately 2 million exams per year via a large referral base of more than 3000 medical staff.  Our mission is to consistently provide the highest quality patient centered diagnostic and interventional service to patients and referring physicians, in a cost effective and timely manner.

Candidate should expect:

  • Read 100% Neuroradiology including CT, MR, XR, and US
  • Days schedule with occasional evening coverage equal to other day neuroradiologists
  • Up to 12 weeks off vacation
  • NO overnight responsibility with subspecialized internal overnight coverage
  • Advanced imaging knowledge is desired including CT Perfusion for stroke, MR Perfusion for brain tumors, and functional MRI
  • Performing neuroradiological procedures including lumbar punctures, myelograms, epidural blood patches, and lumbar drain placement.  Neurovascular procedures are performed by dedicated neurointerventionalists in the system.

General Summary:

Utilizes expertise in patient/family assessment incorporating physical, psycho-social, environmental, spiritual, and financial factors to assess patients for barriers that interfere with the attainment of healthcare goals.

• Educates the health care team and physicians about psycho-social issues and identified patient/family problems as well as recommends strategies to address these issues.

• Responsible for assessment and treatment of individuals with mental, emotional, social or substance abuse problems, including abuse of alcohol, tobacco, and/or other related drugs.

• Provide short-term, structured, evidence-based psychotherapy as part of an appropriate treatment plan.

• Coordinate and collaborate with the primary care providers to improve health outcomes.

• Facilitate referrals to other services (e.g. substance abuse treatment, specialty care and community resources as needed.

• Provide clinical therapeutic services to patients, including individual and group therapy and coordination of treatment for participants with co-occurring disorders.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed.

• Maintain accurate and timely records of activities and services provided to each client.

• Provides ongoing patient/family and staff education.

Location: Tavares, FL - Specialty: Surgery, Cardiothoracic

AdventHealth Medical Group is offering an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, experienced cardiothoracic surgeon to join our established team located at AdventHealth Waterman in Tavares, Florida (just outside Orlando). Training and interest in structural heart procedures would be preferred.

Our team has expertise in the full gamut of procedures including: beating heart surgery, minimally invasive atrial fibrillation surgery, complex aortic valve and root disorders, minimally invasive valve repair and replacement, extensive experience in VATS procedures including total thoracoscopic lobectomies, and thoracic aortic aneurysms.

Requirements of the position:

  • At least three years of experience post training

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic and energetic General Surgeon to join a busy, established Central Florida practice in West Orange County. Responsibilities will include call coverage at AdventHealth Apopka and AdventHealth Winter Garden. In addition, this candidate will help grow practice sites at both locations. Candidate will be clinically focused and must actively practice all aspects of general surgery. A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. Three years' experience is preferred, but not required. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Bosshardt & Marzek Plastic Surgery Associates is seeking a partner to join their well-established practice in beautiful Tavares, Florida (appx 45 mins north of Orlando).  The practice consists of two full-time physicians working out of a beautiful, recently renovated office on Lake Junietta and is the area’s only free-standing, multi-specialty medical building. Location: Celebration, FL - Specialty: Surgery, Thoracic

The thoracic surgery program at AdventHealth in Orlando is looking for a dynamic and energetic thoracic surgeon to join our established and highly respected practice. This position will be focused to build a program at our Celebration campus to start (about 25 minutes south of Orlando near Walt Disney World) with a presence at our tertiary campus as well. This includes a focus in malignant foregut surgery and all aspects of thoracic surgery (not including lung transplant).

Our highly trained and skilled surgeons care for patients with benign and malignant diseases of the lungs, chest wall, pleural space, and mediastinum. The practice offers a full spectrum of endoscopic procedures, including newly acquired Auris Monarch Robotic Assisted Bronchoscopy of the lungs and endoscopic procedures of the esophagus, as well as dilation and stenting procedures. Minimally invasive surgical approaches are used in the treatment of both benign and malignant chest pathology. The candidate will be committed to the expansion of our malignant foregut program within the scope of our multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible through the American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS)
  • Ability to receive a valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Florida
  • At least five years of experience post fellowship training
