Essential Functions:

The APRN or PA-C, under the supervision of the Physician(s) who acts as the collaborative practitioner(s), is responsible for:

Clinical Responsibility

  • Performing health assessments including patient history and physical examination
  • Performs diagnostic procedures according to privileges and maintains log.

  • Performs physical examinations of patients; evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic Gyn patients. Assist in surgical cases with the provider within the hospital setting 1-2 days a week
  • Procedures to include IUD removal and insertions, Biopsies, Nexplanon insertion and removals
  • Assist in the OR as needed with Hysterectomies, Hysteroscopies, Bladder and Organ prolapse, Myomectomies, and more

  • Educates women about different types of care available and encourages them to enhance their pregnancy by being involved.
