Scope of Practice:

General Summary:

The APRN or PA-C, under the supervision of the Physician, who acts as the collaborative practitioner, is responsible for:

• First Assisting Vascular Surgeon in operating room, including suturing, drain placement, etc according to privileges
• Performing hospital rounding, physical examinations of Peripheral and Vascular Surgery patients in the inpatient setting including, but not limited to: new patient consults, pre and post-operative visits, follow up visits – could evolve to an outpatient setting as well

General Summary:
The Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) provides high-quality, evidence-based outpatient counseling services for children and adolescents from preschool through age 17, while partnering closely with families to promote positive mental health outcomes. This position is for full-time coverage at AdventHealth Palm Coast and would encompass a broad spectrum of oncology cases and patients.  Our hospital extended its dedication to oncology care with the construction of the Freytag Cancer Center, opening January 2025.  This free standing-facility will be on campus and features a TrueBeam and new Halcyon treatment machines.
