The Walt Disney Pavilion at Florida Hospital for Children is looking for a non-operative Pediatric Orthopedic Medicine Physician to join a new multispecialty practice located in Middleton, opening in quarter 4 of 2026. This new practice will provide needed access to families in the area who are currently traveling long distances for pediatric care. The physician will provide general orthopedic care which includes fracture care and sports medicine to support the community. Those who need surgical intervention will be referred to and seen by our orthopedic surgeons at AdventHealth for Children in Orlando, FL.

AdventHealth for Children is looking for a fellowship-trained Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join our team! We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic team player interested in growing our program in Central Florida.

AdventHealth is the largest hospital system in Florida, with a network of 30 hospitals in the state with only one children's hospital at the center. These 30 hospitals total around 23,000 births/year and refer patients for tertiary and quaternary services to our main location near downtown Orlando. AdventHealth for Children is a full service, tertiary children’s hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 30 pediatric ICU beds, 102-bed NICU, dedicated pediatric Cardiac ICU, and a statewide pediatric network and transport system. The Pediatric Otolaryngology program was established 2024 and currently has two experienced, fellowship-trained pediatric ENTs and a 1:1 physician to APP support. A new state-of-the-art outpatient office with 11,000 sq ft of space and in-house Audiology, Speech Pathology, Pediatric Dentistry, Imaging, 3-D photography, and Conference room is under construction and slated to open in Q1/2026. The new facilities will help expand the Cochlear Implant, Microtia and Atresia, Head & Neck and Craniofacial programs, and accommodate any other Pediatric ENT sub-specialty interests, such as Voice and Swallowing disorders, Aerodigestive disorders, Vascular Anomalies.

Requirements of the position: 

  • Fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology. 
  • Board certification/eligibility through the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. 
  • Board certification/eligibility for subspecialty certification in Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology.

AdventHealth for Children is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Pediatric Palliative Care Physician to join an established multidisciplinary team (1 MD, 1 APRN) dedicated to providing compassionate, family-centered care for children with complex and life-limiting conditions. The practice is embedded in the Complex Care Clinic with AdventHealth for Children.

AHMG Gyn Surgical Oncology - Physician Assistant (PA-C)

Full-Time Inpatient and Outpatient Role Serving AdventHealth Orlando

General Summary:

The PA-C, under the supervision of the Physician(s) who acts as the collaborative practitioner(s), is responsible for:

• Performs history and physical examinations of patient’s evaluation and treatment of gyn surgical oncology patients in the inpatient setting at our Orlando campus.

• Inpatient procedures include PAPs and endometrial biopsies.

• Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc.

• Monitors the patient’s course of treatment and makes appropriate referral to either a physician or specialist, as needed

• Exhibits autonomy in the operating room and hospital when required

• Performs first assistant duties in the operating room.

• Writes postop orders in the recovery room, performs post op procedures and more

• Return phone calls to patients

• Collaborates with physician supervisor and staff, as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff, including hospital rounds and inpatient consults

• Candidate will also see patients in the outpatient setting as needed.

• Assist in preparing patient for surgery.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public

Schedule Details:

• Location: AdventHealth Orlando with flexibility to travel to AdventHealth Celebration when needed

Neuro Critical Care – PA or APRN

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking an experienced NeuroICU Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our expanding critical care team. The APP would be based out of AdventHealth Orlando, which has approximately 165 critical care beds. Our Neuro Critical Care unit is currently 28 beds. Our group is currently looking to continue to grow its comprehensive and successful 24/7 closed ICU model.

The APP would serve as a member of the Neurocritical Care team by assisting in management of critically ill patients at AdventHealth. The PA/APRN applies specialized skills and knowledge related to Neuro ICU settings in which they practice, contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, and consulting at AdventHealth. 

General Summary: Under physician direction and within the credentialing standards of the Hospital, the APP will assist with:

  • Providing direct clinical services for critically ill adult patients with multi-system failure, utilizing evidence-based clinical practice standards under the supervision of the patient’s physician
  • Obtain patient health histories and complete physical examinations and document findings in accordance with hospital requirements
  • Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests, explaining the necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of procedure(s) to patients, patient's family, staff and healthcare learners
  • Perform CPR; airway management including bag and mask ventilation, endotracheal intubation and extubation; directing administration of life supporting drugs, and defibrillation
  • Insert and manage arterial catheters, central venous catheters and other procedures commensurate with an ICU environment
  • Interface patients with monitoring and instrumentation equipment and directs and educates others in performing the same functions
  • Perform admissions to Neuro ICU during night shifts and consultations to Neuro-Intermediate Unit during day shifts
  • Formulate and implement a treatment plan for acute illness management in collaboration with the designated primary supervising physician and/or attending back-up physician(s) and documents in medical records and appropriate narrative summaries
  • Assess patients for changes in status and institutes appropriate interventions, including initiation of necessary emergency interventions to stabilize patient
  • Participate and assist with the pre-, peri-, and postoperative management of the patients admitted to the ICU

Schedule Details

  • All Inpatient - Schedule is 14 12-hr shifts/month, all nights
  • Extra shifts available with differential
  • Coverage is 14-20 ICU and Intermediate beds at night
  • No call

Required Education & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Nursing (Acute Care Certification) or Physician Assistant Studies
  • Critical Care APP experience is a must
  • Experience as an RN in the NeuroICU (Highly preferred but not required)

Licensure, Certification, & Registration:
