AdventHealth Minneola & AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) are looking for dynamic and energetic Pulmonary & Critical Care Physicians to join our team at AdventHealth Minneola.

These positions are a result of programmatic and companywide growth throughout AdventHealth as we continue to support and establish high quality Pulmonary & Critical Care services to our Central Florida Region.  The ideal candidate would have experience or be comfortable working in Medical and Surgical ICU settings while also covering inpatient pulmonary consults.  The practice would be affiliated to AHMG Critical Care Specialists of Central Florida, a 100 plus employed provider intensive care team, which reaches over 14 other AdventHealth campuses throughout Central and North Florida, caring for over 18000 critically patients a year.

Highlights of the position include:

  • Approximately 80 bed hospital
  • Multi-Disciplinary Rounds
  • EPIC EMR System
  • Approximately 15 Medical/Surgical ICU Beds 
  • 14 shifts a month

Requirements:

Physicians must be board certified/eligible in the subspecialty of Pulmonology & Critical Care Medicine.

Location: Winter Park, FL - Specialty: Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care

AdventHealth Orlando and AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) are looking for a dynamic and innovative Pulmonologist to join an established practice of over 30 years in the beautiful Winter Park, Florida. This position would have dedicated inpatient and outpatient time focused on General Pulmonology.

The physician will work with our currently experienced and established pulmonologists, advanced practice providers and collaborate with the advanced lung disease specialists, thoracic surgeons, pulmonology transplant medical/care team to help continue to grow and establish a high quality and highly sustainable Pulmonology program throughout the AdventHealth System in Central Florida. This is truly an amazing opportunity to continue to build and cultivate this program. This employment opportunity is for a physician who has a passion for clinical excellence and be willing to build a patient base within the local community. Strong referral base and access to supporting specialists would allow a physician to build a robust patient base quickly.

Additional responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Inpatient Rounding
  • Outpatient clinic
  • Procedural capabilities include EBUS, Advanced Diagnostic and Robotic Bronchoscopy
  • Option to pick up PRN Critical Care shifts would be available

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Pulmonary Disease, Transplant

AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida is looking for a dynamic and energetic transplant pulmonologist to join our busy thoracic transplant program.  The physician will work with our current group and established cardiology and pulmonology transplant medical and surgical teams to help continue to grow a high quality and highly sustainable lung transplant program.  We have a full comprehensive Transplant Institute that includes both thoracic and abdominal transplant teams.  Our team performs over 60 hearts, 20 lungs, and 30-50 VAD’s per year with multi organ transplant capability. 

The AdventHealth Transplant Institute is located at AdventHealth Orlando, Florida just outside downtown Orlando close to the charming Winter Park community.  AdventHealth Orlando just opened (in September 2020) a state of-the-art 32 bed advanced cardiac critical care unit dedicated to the cardio thoracic transplant service.  AdventHealth has a hospital-based organ procurement organization (our legacy is a top performing OPO in the United States).    

Requirements of the position include:

  • Board Certification is required in Pulmonology and Critical Care.
  • Lung Transplant fellowship required.
  • UNOS eligibility or certification.

Location: Palm Coast, FL - Specialty: Radiation Oncology

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic and energetic Radiation Oncologist to join the team and practice at AdventHealth Palm Coast, located approximately 75 miles north of Orlando and a short drive to some of the state’s most beautiful beaches.  Our group of over 20 radiation oncologists provides services among many of the AdventHealth sites throughout the Central Florida area including the east coast of Florida. This position is for full-time coverage at AdventHealth Palm Coast and would encompass a broad spectrum of oncology cases and patients.  Our hospital extended its dedication to oncology care with the construction of the Freytag Cancer Center, opening January 2025.  This free standing-facility will be on campus and features a TrueBeam and new Halcyon treatment machines.

Our group is focused on providing superior clinical quality and high patient satisfaction.  The physicians utilize technology and innovation to further clinical research and work collaboratively with the medical staff and radiation staff.  There is also additional support from our AdventHealth Cancer Institute and our physician leadership for clinical sub-specialization by tumor site and participation in a multi-disciplinary care model.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic and energetic Radiation Oncologist to join the team and practice at AdventHealth Sebring, located approximately 90 minutes south of Orlando and a short drive to some of the state’s most beautiful beaches.  Our group of over 20 radiation oncologists provides services among many of the AdventHealth sites throughout the Central Florida area.. This position is for full-time coverage at AdventHealth Sebring and would encompass a broad spectrum of oncology cases and patients.  Our hospital recently proved its dedication to oncology care by adding a TrueBeam radiotherapy system to one of its two vaults in 2022.

Our group is focused on providing superior clinical quality and high patient satisfaction.  The physicians utilize technology and innovation to further clinical research and work collaboratively with the medical staff and radiation staff. There is also additional support from our AdventHealth Cancer Institute and our physician leadership for clinical sub-specialization by tumor site and participation in a multi-disciplinary care model.

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic and energetic Radiation Oncologist to focus on gastrointestinal tumor sites for our group in the Orlando area.  Our group totals over 20 radiation oncologists and provides services among many of the AdventHealth campuses throughout the Central Florida area including the east coast of Florida. This position would be based at AdventHealth Orlando with some potential secondary time at one of our locations within the Orlando area.

Our group is focused on providing superior clinical quality and patient satisfaction.  The physicians utilize technology and innovation to further clinical research and work collaboratively with the medical staff and radiation staff.  This position is supported through our AdventHealth Cancer Institute which sees more newly diagnosed tumors than any other institution in the state.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible through the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology
  • Demonstrated focus/interest/experience in Gastroenterology radiation oncology   

Location: Tampa, FL - Specialty: Radiation Oncology

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic and energetic Radiation Oncologist to join the team and practice at AdventHealth Tampa, located in the city's uptown district. Our group of over 20 radiation oncologists provides services among many of the AdventHealth sites throughout the Central Florida area including the east and west coast of Florida. This position is for full-time coverage at AdventHealth Tampa and would encompass a broad spectrum of oncology cases and patients. Our hospital extended its dedication to oncology care by approving the addition of a new Cancer Institute building which will house our new TrueBeam radiotherapy system as well as the all new ZAP-X Gyroscopic Radiosurgery technology, targeted opening date is summer of 2026.

The physicians utilize technology and innovation to further clinical research and work collaboratively with the medical staff and radiation staff. AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology - Central Florida is seeking a full-time, ABR fellowship trained Fully Remote Body Radiologist to join its expanding practice of over 180 radiologists. We are currently the largest radiology practice in Central Florida which includes 40 collegial, dedicated body imagers. Our facilities provide approximately 3 million exams via a large referral base of more than 3000 medical staff and stretches from the east coast central Florida beaches to Disney. 

AdventHealth is consistently ranked the best hospital system in central Florida and recently the second best in the state by US News and World Report.  Our main campus is a tertiary referral center for Central Florida with a large cancer and transplant population. This provides a large volume of advanced body MRI and CT. Our hospital system has multiple residency programs including our own residency with 4 residents per year.  This is the ideal opportunity for radiologists looking to leave academics and maintain subspecialty, high quality reads.

Candidate should expect:

  • 100% remote position. Do not have to move to Florida.
  • 100% days only position.  No evening or overnight shifts.
  • 100 % body specialty work.  No mammo, neuro, etc.
  • Reasonable RVU requirements with ability to earn production and quality bonuses. 
  • 1 PACS system (AGFA PACS and PowerScribe systems)
  • RAD AI for generating impressions.

Our facilities provide approximately 3.2 million exams via a large referral base of more than 3000 medical staff and stretches from the east coast central Florida beaches to Disney. 

AdventHealth is consistently ranked the best hospital system in central Florida and recently the second best in the state by US News and World Report.  Our main campus is a tertiary referral center for Central Florida with a large cancer and transplant population. This provides a large volume of advanced body MRI and CT. Our hospital system has multiple residency programs including our own residency with 4 residents per year.  This is the ideal opportunity for radiologists looking to leave academics and maintain subspecialty, high quality reads.

Candidate should expect:

  • Can be local or 100% remote position. Do not have to move to Florida. Only stipulation - cannot be located in California.
  • Day or evening shifts. Up to your preference.
  • Can be 3 twelve-hour shifts week (120 shifts per year) or 4 ten-hour shifts per week (160 shifts per year). Significantly more days off than regular position.
  • Days other than Saturday and Sunday are flexible.  
  • 100 % body specialty work.  No mammo, neuro, msk,etc.
  • Reasonable RVU requirements with ability to earn production and quality bonuses.

Candidates can expect sub-specialization in body imaging only. No mammo required.

Our main campus is a tertiary referral center for Central Florida with a large cancer and transplant population. This provides a large volume of advanced body MRI. Our hospital system has multiple residency programs including our own residency with 4 residents per year.

Procedure skills in CT and US are welcomed but not required. 

Candidate should expect:

  • Days schedule with occasional evening coverage equal to other day radiologists. Most evenings are covered by dedicated, evenings only radiologists.
  • NO overnight responsibility with subspecialized internal overnight coverage.
  • 1 PACS system (AGFA PACS and PowerScribe systems)
  • Extremely competitive base compensation, bonus opportunities, plus 10-12 weeks paid time off
