AdventHealth Medical Group Neuropsychology at Orlando is seeking to hire a clinical psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to our diverse patient population of pediatrics and the life span.

General Summary:

  • Typical referrals include but are not limited to Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Depressive, Anxiety, Trauma and Stressor-Related Disorders, Specific Learning Disability
  • The provider will see: Pediatric patients 0-18 years
  • This position is primarily clinical and heavily assessment focused, this is a testing position
  • Provide comprehensive services including assessment, parent and family consultation and education, and interventions for patients
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Developmental Pediatric care providers to improve health outcomes

Education and Experience:

AdventHealth Medical Group Neuropsychology at Orlando is seeking to hire a clinical neuropsychologist to provide comprehensive neuropsychological services to our diverse patient population of pediatrics and the life span.

General Summary:

  • Typical referrals include Medical and neurological conditions such as TBI, concussion, brain tumor, seizure disorder, autoimmune disorders, hematology/oncology, transplant, memory disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions.
  • The provider will see: Pediatric patients with neurological and medical conditions that impact cognitive function.
  • This position is primarily clinical and heavily assessment focused; however, delivery of psychotherapy and treatment is also expected primarily in following patients initially seen for neuropsychological evaluation.
  • There are ample opportunities for supervision of graduate students and post-doctoral fellows, and participation in didactic seminars as presenter and attendee (e.g., tumor boards, grand rounds).
  • The possibility of conducting research is also available.
  • Provide comprehensive services including assessment, parent and family consultation and education, and interventions for patients.

Schedule Details:

  • Combination of outpatient and possible inpatient responsibility.
  • Schedule is Monday – Friday from 8 AM – 5 PM with flexibility and potential of extended hours

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology or Clinical Psychology with a neuropsychology track from an accredited (APA or CPA) university and be licensed or license-eligible in Florida.
  • Completed a 2-year post-doctoral residency in Neuropsychology and be eligible for board certification in neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). If 2 years or after post-doctoral residency, must be board certified.

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Pulmonary Disease, Transplant

AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida is looking for a dynamic and energetic transplant pulmonologist to join our busy thoracic transplant program.  The physician will work with our current group and established cardiology and pulmonology transplant medical and surgical teams to help continue to grow a high quality and highly sustainable lung transplant program.  We have a full comprehensive Transplant Institute that includes both thoracic and abdominal transplant teams.  Our team performs over 60 hearts, 20 lungs, and 30-50 VAD’s per year with multi organ transplant capability. 

The AdventHealth Transplant Institute is located at AdventHealth Orlando, Florida just outside downtown Orlando close to the charming Winter Park community.  AdventHealth Orlando just opened (in September 2020) a state of-the-art 32 bed advanced cardiac critical care unit dedicated to the cardio thoracic transplant service.  AdventHealth has a hospital-based organ procurement organization (our legacy is a top performing OPO in the United States).    

Requirements of the position include:

  • Board Certification is required in Pulmonology and Critical Care.
  • Lung Transplant fellowship required.

Location: Deland, FL - Specialty: Radiation Oncology

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic and energetic Radiation Oncologist to join the team and practice at AdventHealth Palm Coast, located approximately 75 miles north of Orlando and a short drive to some of the state’s most beautiful beaches.  Our group of over 20 radiation oncologists provides services among many of the AdventHealth sites throughout the Central Florida area including the east coast of Florida. This position is for full-time coverage at AdventHealth Palm Coast and would encompass a broad spectrum of oncology cases and patients.  Our hospital extended its dedication to oncology care with the construction of the Freytag Cancer Center, opening January 2025.  This free standing-facility will be on campus and features a TrueBeam and new Halcyon treatment machines.

Our group is focused on providing superior clinical quality and high patient satisfaction.  The physicians utilize technology and innovation to further clinical research and work collaboratively with the medical staff and radiation staff.  There is also additional support from our AdventHealth Cancer Institute and our physician leadership for clinical sub-specialization by tumor site and participation in a multi-disciplinary care model.

Overview

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic and collaborative Radiation Oncologist to join a two physician practice location at AdventHealth Sebring, located approximately 90 minutes south of Orlando and a short drive to some of the state’s most beautiful beaches.  This position is for full-time coverage and would encompass general oncology care, although as a two physician practice, preferences for specialization would be supported.  Services include all linac-based external beam therapies, radiopharmaceuticals, and potential for brachytherapy program development. Support staff include full complement of nursing, patient access, and RTT staff, on-site physicist, nurse navigator, and a full-time APP. Clinic has two Varian accelerators and CT-simulation on site, including a TrueBeam installed in 2022. Treatment volumes are typically 40-60 patients for the two physicians. Clinic uses EPIC for EMR and Aria for treatment planning.

Join an employed practice of 25 radiation oncologists providing services among many of the AdventHealth sites throughout the Central Florida area. Our group is focused on providing superior clinical quality and high patient satisfaction.  The physicians utilize technology and innovation to further clinical research and work collaboratively with the medical staff and radiation staff. There is also additional support from our AdventHealth Cancer Institute and our physician leadership for clinical trials and participation in a multi-disciplinary care model. AdventHealth Research Institute supports clinical trial access and physician leadership with Radiation Oncology dedicated staff. AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking Fellowship Trained Body Radiologists to join our collaborative and collegial physician lead practice as we experience continued growth and expansion of services.  AHMG Radiology is the largest radiology practice in Central Florida, with 200+ radiologists, providing approximately 3 million exams through a large referral base.  

Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible or Certified with the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
  • Eligible for Florida Medical License

Work Schedule: 

  • 100% body specialty work.  No mammo, neuro, msk, etc.
  • Daytime onsite:  Day schedule with occasional evening coverage.  Occasional evening coverage similar to onsite day rads.  NO overnight responsibility (subspecialized internal overnight coverage).  Procedure skills in CT and US are welcomed but not required.  12-15 week's vacation.  RVU expectation 56.5/shift
  • Daytime remote:  100% remote days only position.  No evening or overnight shifts
  • Evenings:  3-11pm or 4-12pm EST with 12 weeks PLD or 7 o/7 off.  Candidate can live anywhere in the US (except California).  RVU expectation 60.5/shift
  • Overnights:  7 days on 14 days off OR 14 days on 14 days OFF.  Neuro skills welcomed but not required.  RVU expectation 61.5/ shift
  • Remote or onsite weekends:  Local or 100% remote. Day or evening shifts based on your preference.  Can be 3, 12-hour shifts/week (120 shifts per year) or 4, 10-hour shifts per week (160 shifts per year).  Days other than Saturday and Sunday are flexible.  
  • Our main campus is a tertiary referral center for Central Florida with a large cancer and transplant population.  This provides a large volume of advanced body MRI and CT.

Compensation and benefits:  

  • Salary:  Extremely competitive compensation of $600K to $1M++ with uncapped earning potential.  Includes extremely competitive production, quality and sign on bonuses.

AdventHealth Medical Group Radiology - Central Florida is seeking a full-time, ABR fellowship trained overnight Body/ED Radiologist to join its expanding practice of over 180 radiologists. We are currently the largest radiology practice in Central Florida which includes 50 collegial, dedicated body imagers. Our facilities provide approximately 3 million exams via a large referral base of more than 3000 medical staff and stretches from Palm Coast to Celebration, Florida.

Candidates can expect sub-specialization in body imaging only. No mammo required.  Neuro skills welcomed, but not required.

Our main campus is a tertiary referral center for Central Florida with a large cancer and transplant population. This provides a large volume of advanced body MRI. Our hospital system has multiple residency programs including our own residency with 4 residents per year.

Procedure skills in CT and US are welcomed but not required. 

Candidate should expect:

  • 7 days on 14 days off OR 14 days on 14 days OFF  - overnight position
  • 1 PACS system (AGFA PACS and PowerScribe systems)
