AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic and energetic Gastroenterologist to serve the needs of South Orlando.  Located at AdventHealth Celebration Hospital, AHMG Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking a third partner with the desire to build a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians. 

Ideal candidate should expect:

AdventHealth Medical Group Gastroenterology is seeking a dynamic and energetic, board certified Gastroenterologist to join their busy practice in beautiful Orlando, Florida.  Ideal candidate should practice all aspects of Gastroenterology and be able to handle a high-volume case load.  ERCP training is preferred, but not required. Daily work schedule will include inpatient rounding/procedures with support from the medical team at two campuses, AdventHealth East Orlando and AdventHealt Winter Park. Candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a desire to build and foster collegial relationships with community based physicians.  Active Florida license is a plus.

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Gastroenterology

AdventHealth is seeking an experienced IBD physician to lead our program at AdventHealth Orlando.  The IBD Program Director will be joining an established group of six gastroenterologists with APP support, along with a second IBD focused physician.  This would be a new program to develop in coordination with our Digestive Health and Surgery Institute.  This is mostly a clinically focused role, but it does include dedicated administrative hours that will help provide needed time for program development.   Practice is staffed with medical assistants, scribes and program support staff of a social worker and RN Navigators. 

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Gastroenterology though ABMS or AOA
  • Fellowship training in Inflammatory Bowel Disease
  • 5-10 years of practice experience preferred

Candidate can expect:

  • 20% Administrative time – program development, networking, creating an integrated referral network, recruitment of support staff, marketing, educational conference attendance and presentations
  • 80% clinical facing time

Advanced Practice Provider AHMG General Opportunity.

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Hematology / Oncology

AdventHealth Cancer Institute, formerly Florida Hospital Cancer Institute, is looking for a dynamic, charismatic, and experienced oncologist to lead our Breast Medical Oncology Program.  The Breast Oncology Medical Director is responsible for the development and deployment of tumor specific pathways and standards of care as well as the clinical/translational research agenda.  This position will also provide leadership to achieve clinical quality improvement outcomes, as well as to achieve efficiency of care improvement outcomes.  AdventHealth Cancer Institute in the Central Florida area sees over 1000 newly diagnosed breast cancer cases each year. 

The Medical Director will collaborate with academia, industry and physicians to advance innovation through clinical trials and will provide leadership to advance patient experience outcomes. The position is based in Orlando, Florida and is part of our Cancer Institute, with locations across a regional network of 8 hospitals. 

A majority of this position is administrative time, with a portion of clinical work as well.  This practice is a part of AdventHealth Medical Group, formerly Florida Hospital Medical Group. Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Hematology/Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant

AdventHealth is looking for a dynamic, energetic, and clinically focused Blood and Marrow Transplant physician to join our program based in Orlando, Florida. This physician would have the opportunity to continue to help build a nationally leading program along with our three physicians, focused in the expansion of our growing BMT/Acute Leukemia/Cell Therapy program.

Our FACT-accredited, active BMT program continues to grow. In 2019 we performed approximately 150 transplants, including haplo.  Our outcomes have met or exceeded the national average over the last 10 years.  We have 32 dedicated beds on a new, state-of-the art inpatient unit, and we perform all donor source transplants including, autologous, allogeneic, cord blood, and Haplo-transplants.  We participate in transplant related NCI sponsored trials, CALGB and BMT Clinical Trial Network studies. We have a clinical trials office, dedicated research nurse, data manager, and data coordinators with opportunities and resources for investigator-initiated trials.

The Blood and Marrow Transplant Center at the AdventHealth Cancer Institute has performed more than 1500 blood and marrow transplants, providing successful therapy and treatment for a variety of conditions including aplastic anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and bone marrow failure syndromes.

The BMTC practice is nationally recognized for our pioneering work and we are Central Florida’s first and only comprehensive blood and marrow transplant program for both adult and pediatric patients. 

We are the only CART program in Central Florida with a focus on continued expansion of cellular therapy options for patients with hematologic and solid malignancies. 

A recent joint collaborative partnership with Moffitt Cancer Center will focus on achieving NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center status and the expansion of clinical and translational research opportunities for transplant physicians. 

Requirements for the position include:

  • Physician applicant must have experience in both allogeneic and autologous transplants or have completed a BMT fellowship.
