The new physician will join the new hospital currently under construction in Minneola when this campus opens. AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic, energetic, and team-oriented fellowship trained hematologist oncologist to join AdventHealth Medical Group in Lake Nona, Florida. The practice is looking for this physician to start in late Summer 2026. This position would manage a variety of Hematologic and Oncologic conditions with a focus on Breast Oncology. 

  • Rotation of call would be shared with the other physicians in the practice, including weekends 
  • Inpatient coverage would also comprise of a team of advanced practice providers and support from the other physicians within the practice

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a dynamic Palliative Medicine physician to join our team at East Orlando. Our leadership has committed to ensure an interdisciplinary approach to providing care thus expanding the teams at our campuses. The current open position is for a physician leader at the Adventhealth East Orlando location in East side of Orlando. The provider will join one APP and one social worker to provide inpatient consultations to our 295-bed community hospital. Clinical care expectations include goals of care, family meetings and complex symptom management in the inpatient setting. The program strives to foster a growth mindset and appreciates its wide diversity of providers backgrounds including psychiatry, family medicine, critical care and internal medicine.

The whole palliative inpatient division is composed of seven physicians, twelve APPs, six LCSWs and chaplains over seven hospitals. The department has two fellowships, a one-year ACGME physician fellowship with two positions and a one-year APP fellowship with two positions. The position does require that the physician provide rotations at the East Campus for our fellows.

Requirements of the position include: 
•    Successful candidates will have strong clinical skills and desire to grow with the program 
•    Board Certification/Eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine along with active board certification through one of the co-sponsoring boards.
•    Comfort level with overseeing APP’s (APRN/PA)
•    Comfort with education (Fellows/APPs)

The Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children (AHFC) is looking for a dynamic and team-oriented non-invasive Pediatric Cardiologist that is well versed in fetal cardiology for our growing program. Training and background in fetal and transesophageal echocardiography and be willing to perform both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities a must. The candidate must be board certified or eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Pediatric, Critical Care

The Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is looking for an experienced Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to help lead the division of pediatric cardiac intensive care at AdventHealth for Children.

Responsibilities of the new physician will include furthering the growth of the Cardiac ICU program aligned with our growing surgical program, mentorship of the CICU Physicians, developing quality improvement processes, standardizing care, and engaging stakeholders both within the hospital as well as the community. Clinical time will be exclusively in our CICU and account for 80% of time commitment with 20% set aside for leadership activity. The new leader would work with our Medical Director of Pediatric and Adult Congenital Heart Surgery and work collaboratively with our dedicated peds cardiology team (seven physicians).

The Cardiac ICU at Adventhealth is a 15 bed state of the art unit. It provides care for post surgical patients with a predicted case volume for the current year of 250. In addition, there is robust interventional cardiology and electrophysiology cases requiring critical care services.

Adventhealth also has a 22 bed pediatric ICU that maintains its own leadership structure and physician staff. Academics include a pediatric residency program (launched in 2013) with twelve residents per year and clinical research opportunities.
