Location: Winter Park , FL - Specialty: Family Medicine, with OB

AdventHealth Graduate Medical Education in Orlando, Florida is looking for a dynamic, hardworking, and broadly skilled Family Physician with a passion for teaching and a strong interest in OB. This doctor would serve as one of the key faculty members within the Family Medicine Residency Program. The physician's duties will include his or her own personal family medicine clinic, precepting residents in clinic, and administrative time to include lectures, constructing curriculum and evaluating residents and medical students. This physician would potentially do 1-2 shifts on L&D weekly teaching residents and providing OB care. The Family Medicine program has a Women’s Health Junior Faculty (WHJF) Fellowship which includes operative OB. The ideal candidate would either have FM/OB training to include c-sections or a passion for obstetrical care to include outpatient obstetrics and L&D vaginal deliveries. There would be opportunity to grow into the WHJF Fellowship Director.

Additionally, candidates would have experience in academic medicine, demonstrate leadership capabilities, strong communication skills, and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth, formerly Florida Hospital.

This well-established ACGME Accredited Family Medicine Residency is based at AdventHealth Winter Park. This 382-bed facility is one of eight hospitals in the greater Orlando area that comprise the largest Medicare provider in the nation. The program began in 1974 and currently trains 12 residents in each class (12-12-12), making it the largest civilian residency program in Florida. The ABFM pass rate is 100% for the past decade and there are no ACGME citations. Program graduates serve in leadership roles throughout the organization to include CMOs and Chief Primary Care officers. Faculty are invited to present at regional, national, and international venues, to include the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, the AAFP’s FMX and multiple national courses. Our site is a regional medical school campus for Loma Linda University SOM and additionally hosts students from Florida State University COM.

Board Certification in Family Medicine (AOA or ABMS) is required.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for dynamic and energetic Gastroenterologists to serve the needs of Central Florida.   AHMG Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking partners with the desire to build a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians. 

Ideal candidate should expect:

  • Daily work schedule of outpatient and inpatient care
  • Desire to handle a very high-volume case load
  • Practice all aspects of general Gastroenterology
  • Busy ED call at one hospital
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for several dynamic and energetic Gastroenterologists to serve the needs of Volusia and Flagler counties, north of Orlando through the Atlantic coastal line of Florida.  Opportunities exist within the following locations:  Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach, DeLand and Palm Coast.  AHMG Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking partners with the desire to build a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians. Strong referral base and access to supporting specialists would allow physicians to quickly build a robust patient base and provide a continuum of care. Our gastroenterology network is aligned with our Digestive Health Institute providing multidisciplinary care to patients across the spectrum of digestive disease. 

The opportunity includes the benefits of a collegial team atmosphere, mentoring, cross coverage, and employment infrastructure with strong competitive benefits, base salary and bonus productivity potential.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for two dynamic Gastroenterologist Hospitalists to be part of our team for inpatient Gastroenterology. This employment opportunity is for a Gastroenterologist with a primary interest in a hospital setting. Physician would have responsibility at either AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach OR AdventHealth Palm Coast to cover inpatient GI consults from the floor and emergency department. Candidate would also perform procedures in the hospital setting and should practice all aspects of Gastroenterology. Candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a desire to build and foster collegial relationships with community based physicians. Our gastroenterology network is aligned with our Digestive Health Institute providing multidisciplinary care to patients across the spectrum of digestive disease. Active Florida license is a plus.

AdventHealth is seeking an IBD physician to join our growing team in beautiful Orlando, Florida.  The IBD physician will be joining an established group of six gastroenterologists with APP support, along with a second IBD focused physician.  This is a relatively new program in coordination with our Digestive Health and Surgery Institute.  This is mostly a clinically focused role, but it does include dedicated administrative/research hours.   Practice is staffed with medical assistants, scribes and program support staff of a social worker and RN Navigators. 

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Gastroenterology though ABMS or AOA
  • Fellowship training in Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Candidate can expect:

  • 90% clinical facing time
  • 10% Administrative time

Advanced Practice Provider AHMG General Opportunity.

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Geriatric Medicine

AdventHealth Graduate Medical Education in Winter Park, Florida is looking for a dynamic, hardworking, and broadly skilled Geriatrician with a passion for teaching. This doctor would serve as one of the key faculty members in an academic role within the Geriatric Medicine Fellowship program associated with both Internal and Family Medicine Residency Programs. He or she would focus on outpatient medicine and nursing home care while teaching our fellows, residents and medical students. The physician's duties will include his or her own personal clinic, leading comprehensive geriatric assessment clinic and nursing home rounds with fellows, residents and medical students, giving didactic lectures, and evaluating learners.

The ideal candidate would have experience in academic medicine, demonstrate leadership capabilities, strong communication skills, and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth, formerly Florida Hospital.

The AdventHealth Geriatric Medicine fellowship began in 1998 and currently enjoys full ACGME accreditation.  The geriatric fellowship program seeks to train Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine Physicians in all facets of clinical geriatrics over a period of twelve months.

The overall experience includes in-patient, out-patient, skilled nursing facilities over two nursing homes, assisted living, independent retirement complex, geriatric psychiatry, hospice care, home visits, rehabilitation, social services, community outreach, geriatric pharmacy, and more.

Faculty are involved with the teaching of the Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residents, Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellows, and medical and physician assistant students from Florida State University and Loma Linda University.

Board Certification in Geriatric Medicine (AOA or ABMS) is required.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic, fellowship trained GYN surgeon to join a busy, established Central Florida practice in beautiful Winter Park, Florida. Candidate will be clinically focused and must actively practice all aspects of Gynecological Surgery. A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. Responsibilities will include call coverage at AdventHealth Winter Park. Three years experience is preferred, but not required. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

AdventHealth Medical Group and AdventHealth DeLand (formerly known as Florida Hospital DeLand) are looking for a dynamic and energetic, BE/BC Gynecologist to start a new practice to serve the patients of a charming community housing Stetson University, a new master planned community and a downtown lined with boutiques and outdoor cafes. This position is based in DeLand, Florida, about 40 minutes north of downtown Orlando.  This employment opportunity is for a physician who has a passion for clinical excellence and be willing to build a patient base within the local community. Physician should have a desire to practice general gynecology and perform  surgery at one hospital with access to multiple specialties within the area.
