AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a gastroenterologist to serve the needs of the Central Florida community. This position would ideally suit a board-eligble or board-certified gastroenterologist with a special interest or formal training in hepatology, seeking to further specialize in fatty liver disease, while also supporting our general gastroenterology practice. The AdventHealth Fatty Liver Disease Program is unique to Central Florida and focuses on a multidisciplinary approach to provide the best care for our patients.

Responsibilities include seeing patients in clinic, performing endoscopy, and participating in the call schedule. In addition to clinical duties, there is an opportunity to teach residents and fellows and to participate in academic and research projects.

AHMG Gastroenterology is one of the largest gastroenterology groups in the nation, with 80+ employed gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers in Central Florida alone. This opportunity would be based at AdventHealth Orlando, a large 1,368 bed tertiary facility located just north of downtown Orlando. Because of the size of our facility and the level of clinical complexity, there is great opportunity to closely collaborate with other specialties including surgery, oncology, transplant, (interventional) endoscopy, endobariatrics, endocrinology, (interventional) radiology, pathology, primary care, psychiatry, nutrition and research.

Advanced Practice Provider AHMG General Opportunity.

Location: Orlando, FL - Specialty: Geneticist

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic medical geneticist to join our team at AdventHealth Medical Genetics & Genomics program in Orlando, Florida.  The physician would join our two other physicians and genetic counselors and continue to grow our dynamic program.  The new physician would collaborate within our multidisciplinary teams of experienced clinicians in pediatric and adult cardiology, pediatric and adult gastroenterology, pediatric and adult hematology/oncology, MFM, pediatric and adult neurology and transplantation surgery. We aspire to provide comprehensive state of the art genetic and genomic services to all patients within the AdventHealth system (locally, regionally and nationally).

The new physician would work in our outpatient clinic, Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM, and participate in a call rotation.

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Clinical Genetics through the American Board of Medical Genetics & Genomics
  • Board eligibility will be considered, but will need board certification within two years of employment
  • Prior experience is a plus but not required
  • Comfort level working with APP’s and Genetics Counselors
  • Comfort level with working with pediatric, adult and geriatric populations

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a national thought-leader to lead our Gynecological Oncology program. The ideal candidate would have at least five years of board-certified clinical experience, demonstrated leadership in clinical trials research, advanced experience in robotic surgery, and the ability to perform with clinical excellence in a highly productive practice.

The candidate will join four other board-certified gynecologic oncologists in a high-volume practice that supports an ACGME-approved fellowship training program.  This medical directorship position also includes on-going quality improvement initiatives for both the inpatient and outpatient services to improve clinical outcomes and the patient experience. The program leader will be expected to foster academic and industry relationships on a national and international level to advance innovation through clinical trials, both multi-institutional cooperative groups and investigator-initiated trials.  Because AdventHealth is a recognized national leader in robotic surgery research and education, the director would have the opportunity to apply for membership in the AdventHealth Global Robotics Institute housed in the Nicholson Center for Surgical Advancement.

We have an exciting opportunity to help expand an already established program with AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Oncology & Hematology in New Smyrna Beach. This location has been serving the community since 2023 and is part of our larger oncology services that have been a trusted presence in Central Florida for over 20 years. The practice is looking for a team-oriented, fellowship-trained hematologist oncologist to join our group and support continued growth in the region.

  • This opportunity would provide inpatient and outpatient services seeing a variety of hematology and oncology patients at AdventHealth New Smyrna
  • The practice consists of two physicians and two APPs
  • Infusion, Radiation and Surgical services available at AdventHealth New Smyrna and surrounding hospitals
  • Access to multi-disciplinary clinics, research, clinical trials, (including Phase 1) and tumor boards (daily) 
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with practice building in a new market and seeing a variety of hem malignancies and solid tumor patients. 
  • Lab and infusion onsite
  • Shared office space with Radiation Oncology for ease of treatments
  • Rotation of call would be shared with the other physicians in the practice including weekends
