AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for dynamic and energetic Gastroenterologists to serve the needs of Central Florida.   AHMG Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking partners with the desire to build a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians. 

Ideal candidate should expect:

  • Daily work schedule of outpatient and inpatient care
  • Desire to handle a very high-volume case load
  • Practice all aspects of general Gastroenterology
  • Busy ED call at one hospital
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills

A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. The new physician should have the desire to join a busy practice and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth.  ERCP preferred, but not required.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for several dynamic and energetic Gastroenterologists to serve the needs of Volusia and Flagler counties, north of Orlando through the Atlantic coastal line of Florida.  Opportunities exist within the following locations:  Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach, DeLand and Palm Coast.  AHMG Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking partners with the desire to build a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians. Strong referral base and access to supporting specialists would allow physicians to quickly build a robust patient base and provide a continuum of care. Our gastroenterology network is aligned with our Digestive Health Institute providing multidisciplinary care to patients across the spectrum of digestive disease.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for two dynamic Gastroenterologist Hospitalists to be part of our team for inpatient Gastroenterology. This employment opportunity is for a Gastroenterologist with a primary interest in a hospital setting. Physician would have responsibility at either AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach OR AdventHealth Palm Coast to cover inpatient GI consults from the floor and emergency department. Candidate would also perform procedures in the hospital setting and should practice all aspects of Gastroenterology. Candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a desire to build and foster collegial relationships with community based physicians. AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic, fellowship trained GYN surgeon to join a busy, established Central Florida practice in beautiful Winter Park, Florida. Candidate will be clinically focused and must actively practice all aspects of Gynecological Surgery. A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. Responsibilities will include call coverage at AdventHealth Winter Park. Three years experience is preferred, but not required. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

AdventHealth Medical Group and AdventHealth DeLand (formerly known as Florida Hospital DeLand) are looking for a dynamic and energetic, BE/BC Gynecologist to start a new practice to serve the patients of a charming community housing Stetson University, a new master planned community and a downtown lined with boutiques and outdoor cafes. This position is based in DeLand, Florida, about 40 minutes north of downtown Orlando.  This employment opportunity is for a physician who has a passion for clinical excellence and be willing to build a patient base within the local community. Physician should have a desire to practice general gynecology and perform  surgery at one hospital with access to multiple specialties within the area.

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic, energetic and team-oriented fellowship trained hematologist oncologist to join AdventHealth Medical Group at our AdventHealth Winter Park location, just minutes outside of downtown Orlando.  This opportunity would provide inpatient and outpatient services to that community seeing a variety of oncology patients.  The ideal candidate will have experience with practice building in a new market and seeing a variety of hem malignancies and solid tumor patients.  Rotation of call would be shared with the other physicians in the practice including weekends.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a team-oriented fellowship trained hematologist oncologist to join our AHMG Hematology Oncology practice in the beautiful Orlando, Florida.

  • Experience and or Training in Palliative Medicine would be a plus but not required.
  • This position would focus primarily within the inpatient setting at AdventHealth Orlando, providing a daily consultative service and coverage within our 36 bed hematology/oncology floor.
  • There would also be an opportunity to build up an outpatient practice over time.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience and interest with an inpatient/outpatient setting seeing a variety of hem malignancies, solid tumor along with palliative medicine.
  • Rotation of call would be shared with the other oncology physicians in the practice, including weekends. Inpatient coverage would also comprise of a team of advanced practice providers and support from the other physicians within the practice.
  • In Orlando it is a team of 5 experienced physicians, 8 APPs, nurse navigators, social workers, chaplain support, pharmacy, nutrition etc.
  • AdventHealth Cancer Institute is a comprehensive program offering medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pediatric oncology, neuro-oncology, Gyn oncology, bone marrow transplant as well as research.

The physician may help guide inpatient consultation services, when necessary, of the interdisciplinary team of advanced practitioners, chaplain, pharmacist and social workers.   • FDA-registered, FACT and CAP-accredited cellular therapy lab, with plans to acquire GMP capability in 2023.
