AdventHealth is seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care physician at Lake Nona!
AdventHealth Orlando and AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) are looking for dynamic and innovative Pulmonary Critical Care physicians to join our team in Lake Nona.
The physician will the opportunity to collaborate with the advanced lung disease specialists, interventional pulmonology, thoracic surgeons, and pulmonology transplant medical/care team to grow and establish a high quality and highly sustainable Pulmonary program throughout the AdventHealth System in Central Florida. This is truly an amazing opportunity to build and cultivate this program. This employment opportunity is for a physician who has a passion for clinical excellence and be willing to build a patient base within the local community. Strong referral base and access to supporting specialists would allow a physician to build a robust patient base quickly.
Additional responsibilities but not limited to:
• Inpatient Rounding primarily at AdventHealth Lake Nona, however this could include AdventHealth Kissimmee and AdventHealth Celebration as the group expands.
• All outpatient responsibilities would include clinic time at the Lake Nona Pulmonary office
• Procedures would include traditional bronchoscopy, EBUS, thoracentesis and all necessary procedures for the ICU.
• Lung Nodule Program.
• Option to pick up Critical Care shifts
• Participation in Thoracic Tumor Board.
Requirements:
Board Certification or eligibility in Pulmonary Disease & Critical Care (ABIM). Our AdventHealth Heart Lung and Vascular Institute is one of the busiest centers of its kind in the nation. AH Lake Nona is located on a 60-acre health and wellness campus with many services opening Nov. 30th 2026. This location will offer medical innovations on a campus designed around whole person health with comprehensive services, destination lifestyle programs, and much more that will shape the next generation of health care.
While we are starting with 55 licensed beds at opening, the number of licensed beds at full build will be 335. We will start with 5 ORs, 2 Endoscopy suites, and 2 Cath Labs.
