Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Opportunities available in the Orlando, Florida area. AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking dynamic and energetic Neonatal APRN’s or Physician assistants to work in our new 102 single room NICU.

We have several Neonatologists and NNPs/PAs during daytime and have an in-house Neonatologist and two NNPs/PAs at night. This busy NICU provides comprehensive medical and surgical care to sick neonates. We have a variety of sub-specialists support e.g. Pediatric Surgery, Cardiology, Radiology, Neurology, Neuro-surgery etc. Our team is well supported by dedicated respiratory therapists, nutritionists, pharmacists, social workers and case managers. Our campus also has a Pediatric ICU and Pediatric Cardiac ICU.

Our NICU features leading edge technologies, including nitric oxide therapy, hypothermia management, neonatal surgeries etc. We have an active Neonatal transport team with ability to use inhaled Nitric Oxide and therapeutic hypothermia during transport.

We are seeking Neonatal Advanced Practice Registered Nurses or Physician Assistants to join our Neonatal team:

  • The APRN/PA is responsible for providing care for NICU patients within the scope of licensure and within the supervising physician's scope of practice

Full Time Inpatient opportunity for a Neonatal APRN

Serving Holmes Regional Medical Center

Neonatal Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Opportunities available in the Melbourne, Florida area. AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are looking for dynamic, innovative and energetic neonatal nurse practitioners as we expand our group at the Level 2 NICU at Holmes Regional Medical Center (HRMC) in Melbourne, Florida. The neonatal nurse practitioner in collaboration with the neonatologist will cover the 10 bed Level 2 NICU at HRMC along with the newborn service.

General Summary:

The APP, under the supervision of Physicians is responsible for:

  • The NNP is responsible for providing care for NICU and newborn patients within the scope of licensure and within the supervising physician's scope of practice
  • Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, order and interpret labs, x-rays and other diagnostic studies per specialty guidelines and under the guidance of the Neonatologist

AdventHealth Epilepsy in Orlando is in search of an advanced practice provider to provide care to our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate would have some sort of exposure to Pediatric Epilepsy and Neurology whether as an RN or having experience was a provider.

General Summary:

The APRN or PA-C, under the supervision of the Physician(s), who acts as the collaborative practitioner, is responsible for:

  • Performing history, physical examinations as needed and monitors epilepsy patients in the clinic setting
  • Ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic tests
  • Providing consistent high quality patient care with epilepsy team through inpatient and outpatient work

Nurse Practitioner, Non-Surgical: Critical Care
Daytona Beaach And Palm Coast, FL

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic Nurse Practitioner to be part of our Critical Care team currently comprised of 8 physicians and 10 advanced practice providers. This provider will work collaboratively with attending physicians to cover the Intensive Care Units at AdventHealth Daytona Beach and AdventHealth Palm Coast in a Nocturnist role. Our team provides advanced care to critically ill patients in the 14-bed CVICU and the 32-bed Med/Surg ICU at Daytona Beach. Fifteen minutes to the north is our Palm Coast facility which has an 18-bed closed med/surg ICU.   This position requires a minimum of 182 shifts per year with the opportunity for flexible scheduling. Team member would have a “home” facility but would be credentialed at both sites for cross coverage. AHMG Pediatric Cardiology formerly known as Pediatric Cardiology Consultants is seeking an APRN to join a the practice. The role involves direct care for cardiac disorders in infants, children, and teenagers. The APP would work in outpatient and inpatient settings. The position involves collaboration between pediatric cardiology teams, neonatal ICU, pediatric ICU, and inpatient cardiology.

Our Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is a full service, tertiary children’s hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, including a 22 bed PICU, 10 bed Cardiac ICU, 102 NICU beds at FHFC, with an extensive network of four other Level II NICU’s that bring our total number of NICU beds to over 150, 17 bed pediatric emergency department and statewide pediatric network and transport system. We started our comprehensive pediatric open-heart program in 2012 and have a strong track record of positive outcomes. We also have several key destination programs including our level IV Epilepsy program. Our unparalleled network consists of 26 hospitals across the state with one children’s hospital at the center and several extremely successful pediatric subspecialty programs including outreach clinics.
