AdventHealth Cancer Institute and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a dynamic and compassionate board-certified or board-eligible medical oncologist to join our growing team at AdventHealth Lake Nona. This adult-focused opportunity offers the chance to practice within a highly connected cancer program, supported by the resources of a cancer system ranked in the top 4% in the nation for cancer care according to U.S. News & World Report. The Lake Nona campus provides access to a strong network of surgical, procedural, diagnostic, and supportive oncology services designed to help physicians deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care close to home.
We are looking for a physician who is committed to high-quality care and who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This general medical oncology role is supported by established referral relationships and specialty services, including surgical oncology, gastroenterology, urology, breast surgery, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, nursing navigation, social work, research coordination, multidisciplinary tumor boards, and clinical trials. Candidate Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure
- Fellowship-trained in Hematology/Oncology
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Hospital Description
AH Lake Nona is located on a 60-acre health and wellness campus with many services opening Nov. 30th 2026. This location will offer medical innovations on a campus designed around whole person health with comprehensive services, destination lifestyle programs, and much more that will shape the next generation of health care.
While we are starting with 55 licensed beds at opening, the number of licensed beds at full build will be 335. We will start with 5 ORs, 2 Endoscopy suites, and 2 Cath Labs.
