AdventHealth is partnering by way of a recruitment assistance agreement with a Private Cardiology practice with offices in Leesburg, FL and The Villages, FL. This practice is growing and looking for an energetic Interventional Cardiologist with interests in general cardiology to join the team. With a focus on women’s heart disease and cardiac disease prevention the lead cardiologist lives and practices with the philosophy of treating patients the way one would expect to treat their own family. The primary AdventHealth hospital campus this position will cover and perform procedures at will be AdventHealth Waterman in Tavares, Florida. General Cardiology call is shared with another local group in the area on a 1:4 rotation. STEMI call will also be expected at AH Waterman and rotated with the other Interventionalist on medical staff. Qualified candidates will be/have:
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
- Board Certification in Echocardiography and Nuclear Medicine is a plus
- Comfortable overseeing and providing clinical supervision to APRN and/or PA-C
- Bilingual candidates preferred
- Unrestricted FL medical license (or ability to obtain one) and DEA
