Overview
AdventHealth Transplant Institute (AHTI) is seeking a fellowship-trained Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiologist to serve as LVAD Medical Director and help shape the future of one of the nation’s busiest and innovative heart failure programs.
As the MCS Director, you will:
- Lead and grow our LVAD and MCS programs in a rapidly expanding Central Florida market.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of currently 4 cardiac surgeons, 8 cardiologists and expanding.
- Drive innovation through clinical trials and myocardial recovery research.
- Receive up to 500 hours of dedicated administrative time for strategic program development.

- Board Certified in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology
- 3+ years of post-fellowship experience
- Strong passion for mechanical circulatory support
- Proven involvement in clinical research

Practice Description
Practice Setting
The AdventHealth Transplant Institute is at AdventHealth Orlando, just north of downtown Orlando. Liver, Kidney and Pancreas transplants are already performed, and the Heart and Lung program started in 2012. The office site is steps away from the hospital in an adjacent medical office building.
