AdventHealth Orthopedic Institute and AdventHealth Medical Group (formerly Florida Hospital) are seeking a BC/BE Adult Reconstructive Orthopedic Surgeon to join an established Orthopedic practice located at the AdventHealth Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach campuses. This position is based in Daytona Beach near the Atlantic coastal line of Florida. This practice is comprised of several subspecialized Orthopedic surgeons at multiple campuses providing a connected system of care through Flagler and Volusia counties. The orthopedic specialists at AdventHealth are backed by the world-class AdventHealth Orthopedic Institute. Patients will have direct access to some of the most advanced orthopedic treatment options available and cutting-edge rehabilitation plans. Physician will join a multidisciplinary care team which includes access to Rothman Orthopedics, rehabilitation resources, fitness centers, and surgical support groups to provide patients the very best in care.

Requirements:
- Board Eligibility/Certification in Orthopedic Surgery through ABOS
- Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction
- Strong interest in developing a practice
- Ability to see a high volume of patients
- Team player with patient-first mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Eligibility for active Florida license

Practice Description
The practice is a part of AdventHealth Medical Group. This is an employment opportunity that includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation with a productivity model. Other benefits include occurrence-based malpractice coverage, paid leave days, CME days and allowance, 403b retirement plan, health insurance for physician and family, and relocation allowance. AHMG is a sister organization of AdventHealth which employs 350+ physicians in 27 individual service lines. AdventHealth Palm Coast has 100 beds and is one of the six hospitals in Flagler, Lake and Volusia counties that compose the AdventHealth Central Florida Division — North Region.
