Ideal candidate should have:
- 2+ years’ experience as an advanced practice provider in a general OBGYN practice
- A vision to care for patients using evidence-based medicine with a focus on patient safety and patient satisfaction.
- Ability to perform (or desire to learn) office procedures such as IUD insertion and removal, endometrial biopsy, contraceptive implant insertion and removal, and first-trimester vaginal ultrasound. Training available
Education, Licensure, and Certification Required:
- Certified Nurse Midwife Licensure
- Minimum three years of experience as RN including Labor and Delivery in a high-risk center
- Current BLS and ACLS
- DEA Required

AdventHealth Waterman is a 300-bed, full-service community hospital located in the heart of Lake County. Founded in 1938 by Frank Waterman, president of the Waterman Fountain Pen Company, the hospital has grown from an 18-bed facility to a leading provider of acute and home health services in Central Florida. The hospital joined AdventHealth in 1992 and moved to its current location in 2003.
